Added a Simple Interactive Calculator to a Page.

Why it works:

Educates the user about savings in their context (not just a generic pitch).
Builds trust by showing transparency.
Increases perceived value before the form.

We run a credit card processing company, and like many in our space, we were struggling with turning traffic into leads. People would visit our landing page, skim the copy, then bounce. We had testimonials, pricing info, clear CTAs — but it just wasn’t sticking.

After watching a few session recordings and asking leads what they wanted to know first, one thing kept coming up:

“How much would I actually save?”

So here’s the tweak:

We added a simple savings calculator to the landing page.
Just 3 fields:

Monthly processing volume
Average ticket size
Current rate (if known)

It immediately gave them an estimated monthly savings vs. the industry average.

What happened?
Time on page tripled
Form submissions jumped by 80%

Best of all, the leads were way warmer — many mentioned the calculator in the LIVE Chat.

We didn’t gate it; no email required to use it—just straight value.

Why I think it worked:

People don’t trust vague “save money” claims, but they love a personalized number
It helped us stand out in a commoditized market
It made the next step feel like their decision, not ours

Has anyone else tried interactive tools or content on your lead-gen pages? I would love to hear what works for you.

That actually makes sense and a smart move from you.

Those marketing claims "save with us", "choose the cheapest whatever", etc... they are so vague that I just ignore those promises but when with a simple calculator you show me how much I'd actually save, I change my attitude and show some interest.

Any interactive elements are a great scroll-stoppers. People like to play around with them just for fun, or to check stuff out of pure curiosity.
Simple trick and bang, user start to think more about the service and conversion goes through the roof.

Thanks, it has helped a lot!

Its worked very well

Love it man! I have the same things on my website, a quick how much do you make, here's what you could qualify for, fill out the form today! With email marketing it works like a charm :)
It amazes me sometimes how small things like this can make such a huge difference

Make perfect sense. Generic claims are so easy to tune out, but an interactive calculator make it real for them. I been thinking about adding one for my agency pricing your results just convinced me

Let me know if it helps, I am curious

::UPDATE

We are already starting to rank for the organic traffic as well. People who are looking for a processing calculator for fee comparison are now using the site and reaching out because of it. Love the improvement this made
