Hey all,

I noticed that Yelp reviews are a giant underserved gap here on BHW. Why is that? Not even an occasional review copy.

Curious isn’t it?

It's for usa brick mortar businesses last time I checked. That could be the reason, low demand.

Any reliable seller won't touch Yelp with 10 feet barge pole because the reviews drop off within a week or 15 days.

Even if the profiles are real, with activities. The reviews drop unlike the other platforms. Because with Yelp, they have a weird way to filter the reviews. I have had clients complain their real positive reviews drop within 7-15 days.

There are a few selling still on BHW. But their warranty is 15 days which imo is not worth it.

There is a huge demand for Yelp.
Yelp services are not allowed on BHW because Yelp has strict policies against fake reviews. Promoting or selling such services can lead to legal risks and platform bans. BHW avoids these to protect its community and reputation.
No I don't think so. Can you please show me where you found this TOS?

Hmm, yes looks like huge demand and lot's of sellers too:

This is beacuse yelp "algorhythm" is random and is designed to force brick and mortar businesses to pay for their services. Any positive or negative review will face random removal in unrecommended.

Not many active sellers if you filter through. But yes lots of demand. It's because the reviews don't stick or drop fast.
Is there a way to get a page on Yelp?

I created a page almost a year ago and it's still in moderation (non-public).

I only want it for a backlink.

You seem to be very experienced in this topic.

Do you have any advice, please?

Yeah it's weirdly quiet for such a high-value platform  Maybe Yelp's algo or legal team scares off sellers? Definitely feels like a missed opportunity though :smirk:
