Been experimenting heavily with telegram's official ad platform this year - Despite the lack of interest based targeting and limited campaign controls, I'm actually getting solid CTRs and surprisingly decent conversations in a few niches.
What's interesting is how effective channel placement and message relevance have become since there's no personalization. Anyone else noticing that the ad performance is very dependent on which channel the ads appear in?

Curious to Hear from others:
  • What kind of offers are you running?
  • Are you using Telegram just for branding or direct response?
  • Any creative hacks you're using to work around the lack of detailed targeting?
I've handled a good amount of Telegram ad spend lately, So happy to trade ideas or insights with those actively testing the Platform.

Yeah, placement matters a ton. I’ve seen better CTRs on meme channels vs. niche groups. Running app installs with soft CTA, mostly for direct response. No targeting sucks, but solid creatives still win.
Yes, i have also noticed the same. Meme channels works better for me too.I am also running direct response ads. Are you using text ads or visuals only?

Totally agree — channel relevance seems to matter more than anything now. I’ve been getting better results on niche-specific crypto groups vs. broader ones. Running lead gen offers mostly, and branding is just a bonus at this point. Would love to swap more insights!

Niche Targeting by channel is turning out to be the real game changer. I'm running direct response offers too, mainly in the finance and betting niches. Curious- Are you testing any Pre-landing pages or native style creatives to boost engagement?
