BHW has turned into AI bots asking questions with AI bots answering questions.
literally every post has an AI response account replying.
heres a stupid example: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/looking-for-competetors-backlink-tool.1720739/#post-19398440
the AI reponses are easy to find because nobody uses the ALT+0*** (if you know you know)

even the jr. VIP's are using AI reponses
eg. https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/how-to-delete-facebook-friends.1721931/
lets not forget to mention that its easy to see that about 5+ of the jr vip's in that thread are duplicate accounts with the same but different sales pages (even my dead grandma can tell).
i have even reported AI bots that responded the exact same as was told 'theyre not linked' BUT IT WAS THE EXACT SAME AI RESPONSE 2 MINUTES APART.

There used to be alot of uproar about that SEO guy (i forget his name, but the oldy BHW users will remember) who used to bot his responses on his sales thread, but now its gotten ridiculous.

to me, its appearing as BHW has stopped caring for its actual community, and is only focused on the income it receives.
theyve lost alot of sales threads due to the updated TOS to marketing only but BHW sure isnt what it used to be.

I suggest that BHW add a feature to test out people for expertise, manually.

Heres one way to look at it - if everyone else is doing made up shit using robots, it should be easy for us to shine through with quality human content. That applies to BHW as it does to the rest of the digital space. Its working well for me in my business so hopefully you can make use of it too.

As far as my official BHW response goes - yes, AI is a problem and that is why we have the reporting facility - if you see content that is clearly AI then please report it and we will act accordingly but don't be disheartened if reports get rejected because we do have a duty to our members and our policy with all rules is that we need to have clear evidence of a rule break and if there is any anbiguity we often won't act for risk of creating false positives. This may sound like a cop-out but beleive me there have been many false positives in the past where you could have been almost certain a rule was being broken or a member was linked to a spam ring or something, but then it turns out not to be the case. So we found it better for everyone concerned to wait until there is clear evidence and that way it stops many false positives and also cuts down unproductive work chasing things that are not there.

That being said, if you or any other members have suggestions or feedback about how AI is handled, this is the place to discuss it and we are open to those suggestions of course.

Spamming is always a problem for forums. Nothing to do specifically with bhw. Bhw has stood the test of time when it comes to spammers.
well they havent.
they still do their due diligence, but if you remember the SEO sales thread spammer guy (patesh or something like that) then youll know that if the IP doesnt match, then its a "different person."
whether they have been good to stop spammers in the past, they are definitely failing now

Do they have special character in their text? I didn't see it
They said AI is allowed to write better but most are using it just to spam and add non value comments

Some use AI to write their replies to farm messages, if the question is too tough they also do this or its not their native language, there should be leniency but I also feel that it shouldn't be abused.

yeah theres special characters, thats why i put ** so the bots doing realize its noticeable

Well, what if I want to report several answers in a row? I need to wait a full minute between each of them. That's something I don't agree with.

About this particular problem, you could mark an account as suspicious if it used an AI response.

To be honest, BHW is still most crowded MMO forum now. Other ones (for ex: warrior, the bot net,...) have already in much worse condition.

You’re right. BHW feels more like a script than a community now. Everything’s starting to sound the same, like it’s written by a template, not real people. The personal touch is gone. If this keeps up, the forum will lose what made it valuable in the first place.

It's not just BHW. If you look at YouTube, Reddit, Quora, Facebook, TikTok, or any other major platform, you'll find tons of AI generated content. But that doesn't mean real people aren't using the internet. The reality is, most people are consumers and only a small percentage actually create or post content. AI can produce content at scale, which makes genuine human generated posts harder to find simply because they're vastly outnumbered. One CPA marketer publishing hundreds of videos daily through many accounts on youtube, while other genuine users can only produce a new video every 3 days. So you see AI content more than you can see genuine content.

Biggest difference i notice is that 99% of the buyers are fake buyers. If i see someone with an account less than 2 years old asking to buy something, nowadays i could easily bet my life on it being bullshit. It didn't use to be this way. It used to be 50/50. Now it's 99.5/0.5. It's not a small difference. It tells us something completely transformative happened to the site.

yeah, as a newbie, we've noticed some ai content, but we can say bhw is better than most forums thanks to the strict rules and good moderation. in the short time we've spent here, we had the chance to receive help and contribute to the community (we hope). it's still a good place for all kinds of websites and the people working on them — vendors and buyers alike. trends are changing, and in our opinion, bhw is still the best at protecting its values compared to others.

If we report the AI generated text/content reply in threads only few of them are removed, some of the reports are rejected

The whole internet is going down hill, open YT, TikTok, IG Reels and you'll see tons of AI generated garbage
BHW at least allows you to report those comments and in my case, most of them are deleted by mods
There are definitely some things to improve, but this forum is still above the average of the whole internet in 2025
