please help me, our facebook ads account only increases limit but not threshold even though we have spent a lot and it also asks me to pay manually. Does anyone have a solution?

bro same thing happnd with mine few months back.. fb system auto flags sm accts for manual pay if they see unusual spend or sudden scale.. u can try contact support but tbh they rarely fix it.. best bet is to keep paying manual n keep ad quality high.. over time it might auto switch back. also try diff bm or card sometimes helps. gl!

Yeah, this happens often. FB increases your limit but keeps the threshold low if you pay manually too often. Try letting it auto-charge instead, spend consistently, and avoid switching payment methods too much. It builds trust over time. Agency accounts can also help if you’re scaling faster.

But I don't understand why Facebook is giving us this error.

ya bro i get u, even if spend looks normal to us, fb algo sometimes still flag it based on pattern it thinks is risky.. not always logical tbh. had same convo with support too lol.. they say all good but still manual pay stuck. just keep running clean, pay on time, sometimes after few billing cycles it resets on its own. not much else u can do really. frustrating but gotta play the game.

We have been doing this for two weeks now and we are very annoyed with it.

Don't add prepaid balance and don't manually pay the bills either. Let Facebook auto charge your card. It's about building the reputation of your payment card.
We face same issue, we replaced all our cards with Platinum Master Credit card. Real physical ones after partnerships with a bank. Now, we get high threshold, and CL too for most of our ad accounts.

My advice is too use real master platinum or even better Gold ones if you have. Our partner bank manager doesn't have the capacity to issue us Gold or Diamond cards lol.

your account must spend a lot of money and pay full to Facebook , then can contact meta support to ask them for help

I had a similar issue before. Even after spending a lot, my threshold stayed low. What was helped me was just staying active and making small payments on time. It tooks a little patience, but things eventually got better.

If you start paying the bills without any failure, let contact FB support team and ask them to increase it

i think frequent ip/device changes, multiple business managers, or signs of risky behavior can keep your threshold low
the only way is spend consistently and pay your entire balance as soon as charged, avoid payment issues. Let your camp run at stable budget, not sudden large jumps up/down
Good luck <3

Even if your limit goes up, the threshold stays low when their system doesn’t fully trust your account yet.
Keep payments consistent and never delay even once. Use the same card and billing info across campaigns. If it keeps asking for manual payments, it's usually because the trust score hasn’t improved enough yet.
It’s annoying but the only fix is time and clean spend behavior. Treat it like Facebook’s version of dating. Show up on time, pay the bill, and hope they start trusting you more.

Yes, this is quite common. Facebook might increase your overall spending limit but still keep your billing threshold low, especially if you make manual payments too frequently. To build account trust, it's best to let the system auto-charge, maintain consistent ad spending, and avoid switching payment methods often.

The situation of increasing the limit but not increasing the payment threshold is actually quite common recently. Even if you have spent a lot and paid on time, the system may still keep the threshold low or request a manual payment. The reason is that Meta is increasingly strict in assessing the reliability of the account, based not only on the amount spent but also on the payment history, account behavior, funding method and even the trust of the Business Manager. Using standard credit cards, avoiding prepaid, limiting suspicious behavior and maintaining a regular spending frequency can help improve gradually. However, in some cases, the fastest solution is still to switch to another account with a clean credit history and higher trust.

Payment method error. Please edit the card in the payment section, add ccv again and wait for payment. If there are any, add more cards (if the same bank, replace the card with a different prefix number or another card from another bank)
