Reddit Traffic Isn't dead - You're just doing it wrong

A lot of people say Reddit traffic dead or too risky, but I think it stills works - if you know how to play with Reddit's rules. Its not about spamming links, its about real engagement, helpful posts, and the right timing.
Would be great to hear - is anyone still getting solid traffic from Reddit?
What subreaddits, post types and strategies are working for you?

Very correct. Also, people saying that Reddit Users are clever AF. But with ads targeting subreddits, specially work related ads, converts high.

Absolutely agree. One solid Reddit account? Cute. Five+ aged, clean accounts posting across diff verticals with human cadence? You’re sitting on a traffic faucet.

We ran a flow last year that pushed 40K+ hits/mo to mid-ticket SaaS just by rotating content across subs with value-first framing. It works — if you act like a user, not a billboard.

What stack are you using for mgmt?

Yeah, Reddit still works - but only if you are patient. I stopped dropping links and just focused on helping people in relevant threads. After building some karma and trust, I started sharing content naturally. That's when traffic started coming in.
 
Reddit traffic still works if you focus on value, not links. Join niche subreddits, post helpful content, and build trust before promoting anything.
 
Totally agree with you! Reddit traffic definitely isn't dead - people who say that are probably the ones who got banned for obvious self-promotion or link dropping.

Reddit traffic definitely isn't dead. I made a post last night, sent 40 dollars in upvotes to it, got 300,000 views, and flooded my inbox with 35 messages. 4 of those people have actually purchased client work, and I have way more money in my bank account than I started with.

If you rank for your brand name, it can be a little bit better. People don't have to click a link; they just Google the brand. Did you ever notice that ChatGPT does deep research and when it does deep research about a topic, it always crawls Reddit? Getting your name out there is going to be more important than getting your link out there, and ranking for your name is going to be the main priority of people in 2026.

Reddit is actually helpful specially for small devs who want to push their products, I always tell my clients to push slowly and gather engagement genuinely instead of spamming links every now and then. Reddit users actually knows who are in it for the quick engagement and the actual people who want to help.
 
It's still untapped for soo many niches and these are very high paying ones I'm talking about

For us, we mostly use it for our clients that are in SaaS, local and ecom niches

And doing affiliate marketing just for us. One example is we did a comment on a thread that was ranking on Google for VPN niche and that brought us over $500 in two months. Imagine how much money you can make across so many other industries
 
Reddit doesn't work for every niche so do your research.
You have to understand the demographics of reddit visitors first... you can't just post anything and hope for the best.
 
There are many people overcomplicating Reddit. There is no reason to have multiple accounts if you are not a SMM panel, an upvote provider or something like that. One or two accounts with organic karma are enough, you don't even need aged accounts, my main Reddit account was created in February 2025 and it's already driving me at least 100 users per day, directly to a website full of aff offers
