I also had the same doubt but you can see a lot of ebooks still being sold in clickbank which i guess have many affiliates too so yeah more money to ebooks .

They sell, but they don't sell themselves. You need to find a way to sell them.
If nobody is advertising ebooks in your country, maybe it's an untapped niche that is waiting to be filled. If users are not used to the typical sales tactics, the basics might work very well.

Yes, ebooks still sell and always will, but it all depends on how you approach. First of all, you have to have some authority in your niche, and then you have to have a solid audience base or an email list. Then you can provide them free ebooks, tease insights from your paid ebooks, and then sell them as a solution to a real problem they care about.
