Holy, f'ing Hell! What now!

unemployment had been filed and I have went after those cocktails twinkletoes! Thank you all for the advice! I hope it is a blessing in disguise.

This forum is f'ing great!! I have also received a few pm's offering help which is absolutely fantastic! I truly have to say that is why I love this forum! Aside from the few scanners and fakes this place is full of great people!

One more thing, workfromhome11, if you can develop back ends for web initiatives of any sort, chances are you can find remote gigs. And I'm not talking about elance or that sort; I'm talking about substantial contracts with small or mid-sized companies.

This would require that you market yourself to them so that they are confident that you can deliver. They won't want to understand the issues, so you will need to show proof of successful projects and good references.

If you'd like to go that route, I'll try to help you with your resume & cover letter.

Best,
Sine

I feel your pain brother.
I have been in the same boat.

First things first, file for unemployment so atleast you will have some cash coming in.

Second, if you still can take stuff from the warehouse, empty that mofo! Regardless if the stuff is in inventory or not. Take everything from excess inventory to the toilet, pull out the plumbing if they have copper.
Do they use a forklift to move the pallets around?
Guess what, you are the proud owner of a new forklift!
When you are done pillaging, ebay/craigslift what you can.

P.S. if you have some of those "CHI" curling irons, women are crazy for those.

sorry to hear youre in the same boat... I do have a shitload of the "chi's" so it should be easy to offload in egay! Good luck!

If you have been here for some time then it may be time to repackage your resume as an expert in Search Marketing. There are plenty of jobs going in that field all over the US and in California you are looking at serious six figures. Good luck.
