hello, this is common issue. As a partner in a web hosting/email hosting i can gurantee its not zohoo's fault. there are 2 reasons for this. also its important you note that this happens only with gmail and not any other mail host or your fault in dns setup

1- your email domain is fresh. in this case some newly purchased domains may land in spam for no reason. as the gmail algorithms might consider its for spaming
2- your domain been blacklisted. domains which have been registered before may have blacklisted by major lists. you can check this by googling email blacklists

you got two solutions for this.

1- change the email domain
2 - click the mark as not spam using several gmail accounts (best option) and warm up the domain for at least 3 months.

also if your are looking for a new email provider, you can join to our platform sitekali.com which give you access to lifetime email hosting for one time payment

This is a pretty common issue, especially with gmail. It usually happens if your domain is brand new or if it was previously blacklisted. Gmail’s filters are strict, and fresh domains can get flagged as spam even without any real reason. The best fix is to have several Gmail users mark your emails as “Not Spam” to help build trust over time. If you're open to switching providers, my platform Sitekali offers lifetime email hosting for a one time fee
This is my reply

I have opted in emails from my customers and I am sending them welcome emails but those emails landing on either spam or promotion box. I have newly setup business email and using zoho mail service. Now planning to shift to spacemail. Is this issue due to spam server of ZOHO? Should I change them. I am not even mentioning any word such as BUY NOW, ADD TO CART so, there's no way to get my newly setup email or campaign to land on promotion.
I suggest you use amazon ses properly with domain warmup ... Cloak content better

anyways, if you need ses let me know i have got stock

Switching to spacemail may help if it has better IPs, but first set up SPF, DKIM, DMARC and warmup your email. Use mail.tester.com to check. Switching alone won't fix deliverability.

Why using sendgrid and amazon ses and not mailerlite and getresponse, etc

Only if the custom SMTP is not on a shared IP or spammed to death.
Custom SMTP servers I have to warm up them also? or why not using ready made service providers such as mailchimp, mailerlite, etc?

Hello You want Custom Non Suspend Server I also Using Custom SMTP if You want I sharing with you DM me it is really Working Non Suspend Server

After considering every details shared, I think the issues could be-
  1. Zoho's Shared IP Problem
Even with proper SPF/DKIM, Zoho's shared IPs often have deliverability issues for new senders. SpaceMail or a dedicated SMTP (like Mailgun) would help, but requires proper warmup.
  2. Critical Warmup Missing
Since this is a new domain/email, you need 4-6 weeks of gradual warmup (start with 20/day, increase 20% weekly). Tools like Warmbox.ai or Lemwarm automate this properly.
  3. Content & Engagement Signals
Check your emails on spam testers. Even "neutral" content can trigger filters if:
  • Text-to-HTML ratio is off
  • No prior engagement history exists
  • You're not getting replies (crucial for Gmail's AI)
Quick Fix: Run a test campaign through Mailchimp's free tier first - their IP reputation often bypasses initial spam filters better than Zoho.
