How are you all? I’d like to ask what you think about airdrops. I know that the majority aren’t that great, but what are your thoughts on them?

I’d also like to connect with anyone here who is participating in airdrops.

Most airdrops are meh, but once in a while one hits big. Worth doing if you have time. I’m down to connect with others doing them too!

Airdrops aren’t as rewarding as they were back in 2020–2022, when you could easily grab $1–2k per wallet after just a few simple transactions.
Too many people overfarmed. Nowadays projects focus on social engagement and long-term activity instead of quick farming with minimal effort.

I agree that you can't make 1000$ per a wallet but why not getting 50-100 wallets on the same project?

Most airdrops don't worth it, even some airdrops with huge partners and millionaire companies working behind it can be completely waste of time, like Zora. That shit was a money-burner.

Some worth it, others don't. And it's hard to identify which airdrops really worth it

I'll just give my personal opinion here. My experience tells me airdrops are basically roulette. You hit the right number, you get the jackpot. That means you need to put a lot of chips on a lot of different squares, and that costs both money and time.

Honestly, it's easier to focus on alternative ways to earn crypto that aren't just airdrops. Think getting involved in IEOs, IGOs, IDOs, or just earning specific rewards directly from a project.

For example, I snagged some cash rewards from Cryptomus and then YOLO'd that free money into meme coins. Ended up 7x-ing the reward. How is that worse than an airdrop? I wouldn't have thrown my own money into meme coins, but with free cash, who cares if it tanks?

if its a roulette its kinda like a free round on the roulette

The "easy money" airdrop era is over, but they’re not dead, just more competitive. If you stay active, do your research, and avoid scams, you can still score solid rewards. Just don’t expect a life-changing reward every time.

Easy Money its not, but its not hard money because eventually you are getting a free token

Whats the average time? 1 Minute?
You learned Newton's Third Law, right? You could totally rephrase it like this for airdrops: "Time spent equals return gained." The problem is, if you're spreading yourself too thin trying to hit a bunch of projects, the quality of the ones you pick will be low, so you'll probably end up with nothing.

Haven't done them but I know people who farm them and stay active regarding airdrops. I mean it won't make you rich, and it's always a gamble. But it brings money in.

Airdrops can be hit or miss — some are worthless, but others from solid projects can offer great early rewards. It’s all about picking the right ones

Do not treat it as some side gig. If you do it full tune with dedication , it can still be a solid way to make lot of money without the need og investment.

not worth it anymore, for example you can look at recently launched kaito and stayloudio ones, they are solely for influencers, not for small accounts

If you have a large group where you share airdrop, you can earn very good from referrals. It might take some time to grow a large group but it is certainly worth it.
