Make Telegram channel appear more in 'Similar channels' section

Hey everyone,

I manage a Telegram channel with around 15k people. Often when I open different channels in the same niche, the 'similar channels' tab shows the same 5-10 channels 90% of the time. This makes me think about the relation between your channel being shown more often in 'Similar channels'.

Does it have anything to do with the number of subscribers, because I've noticed one particular channel with 300k subscribers that often appears?
My channel gets between 1 and 3 joins per day from 'Similar channel' section, just for the reference.

I know it's a very niche question, but I'll be happy if some of you has more information regarding that matter, as I couldn't find anything anywhere.

If the same subscribers are subscribed to the same channels, then Telegram forms them into a channel group based on the same subscribers in the channels and based on the title.

How to get into the similar channels group?

One of the manipulation methods here can be to boost the same bots on a competitor's channel and the same bots on your channel.

Sounds interesting. What do you mean by 'boost the same bots', buy fake followers from a SMM for both mine and competitor channel?

Yes. Exactly. But competitor channel possible use safe bots like "tguard“ which recognizing and removing all your bots. Anyway sometimes its working. Just need to check in each channel. And this is a cheapest way.

Start with most cheap bots like 1k in 1 minute and if bots not removes after 5min that means they are dont have safe bot and after start 100k boost and do same on your channel.

But be careful. Its danger for your channel bcs very possible you will loose ranking in search engine TG if that was worth it.

i’ve noticed the same thing ,would love to know what actually affects the 'similar channels' algorithm. subscriber count might play a big role.

Usually, subscriber count and engagement matter most for “Similar channels” visibility. Bigger active channels get priority there. Keep boosting your activity and interaction—it should help you show up more over time.

I remember that when you click "Follow," more related channels automatically pop up.

Same here. 1900 subs, trying to get featured on similar channels. I am running a few ads in similar channels but bringing no results.

I onced was featured in similar channels with a 1k channel before, it's not about the amount of subs...

Would love to find a way to get it back.
