I have a ecommerce website on which there is no traffic, what should I do?

Start by improving seo, posting useful content, and using social media or small ads to bring traffic to your ecommerce site.
I have just created social media account only few days ago should i run ads on that.

You should start by promoting your website through social media, ads, and seo to bring more visitors.

Find long-tail keywords your buyers use (like “affordable leather tote bag for work”), then put those exact phrases into your product titles, descriptions, and image alt-text. Just target 0 search volume keywords for quick visibility.

Hi,
Can you provide your site URL? .I will check it and then suggest you the Best Solution.

Improve your SEO (On-page and off-page), try aiming for long-tail keywords with the help of Ahrefs or SEMrush.

Another idea is to have a good social media presence. Posting daily, and including popular tags.

No traffic? Have you recently changed something in your posting behavior? Have you submitted your website to Google Search Console?

What's your plan to get the traffic in the first place?
Did you analyse the niche/competition depending on the traffic source you're aiming for (SEO, Social media, PPC, etc.)?
Traffic won't just flow because you made the website, you have to learn and practice the ways to bring it

Must try growth hacking techniques to find keywords and other techniques for your e-commerce site. If you’re not sure how, hire someone to help.

Start with seo, post helpful content, promote on social media, and run small ads to bring traffic to your ecommerce site.

You should follow a strategy like start with creating social profiles for you business, check you website for on page seo, start linkbuilding on less difficult keywords.

Do on-page, off-page, and even technical SEO. Investigate to find the problems. Optimize your images, improve your website speed, create content that provides value to users, add internal links. Then promote your website on social media platforms.

Ranking an eCommerce website is definitely more complex than a simple blog or local site. Optimizing and ranking an eCommerce website isn't easy. It requires more time, money, and patience than most people expect. While social media can help generate some leads and sales, much of that depends on your product's value, customer reviews, brand trust, and overall online presence.

You should SEO websites, post useful content, use long-tailed keywords, optimize these blog according to SEO standard. Also, you can create social media and drive free traffic (TikTok, Facebook reels, Instagram reels are good to go)

you should post daily on social media to drive free traffic to your site or run ad.

If you have spare money:
Run ads.
hire influencers

Tight on budget:
start by posting on social media
try to communicate and soft market your product in related community like fb group pr reddit
start working on Seo and start reaching out to similar promoting product blogs

Sometimes its good to analyze what your competitors are doing, check their social media their blog. If possible buy a product from them to see how many mails they send, if they ask for reviews and what kind of newsletter they send after.

No traffic is tough but common at the start! Focus on driving visitors with strategies like SEO to rank on Google, running targeted ads (Facebook, Instagram, Google), and sharing your products on social media or relevant forums

Ranking an eCommerce website is harder than a blog or a small local site. It takes more time, money, and patience. Social media can help, but what really matters is how good your product is, what customers say about it, how much people trust your brand, and how well you show up online.
