You know, I look around me in some social situations, and I can do nothing but shake my head. I used to think that some people were just lost. Like soulless zombies, or something. Complete fools who are consumed with inane, trivial bullshit.
Then I read a few books, became a little educated, and started to understand the basic sociological and psychological theories. People are this way as a result of their responses to their external environment (which is the root of all this sucking).
I also realized that I was in their shoes at one point, and I continue to be. Just because I'm not consumed with the same bullshit doesn't mean I'm not consumed with some other bullshit. From this, I began to grow as a person (and I'm still trying to grow).
A few days ago I decided to start something like a blog, though I'm not sure that's exactly what it is. It's basically something I want to use to promote awareness and mindfulness, and to help people understand how to get out of their own personal rat race.
I think a lot of the folks here at BHW would appreciate those kind of ideas. Many here would agree that even the most basic conventional logic, like the 9-to-5 day job, isn't their ideal situation, and from that we get some master Internet marketers.
So, if anyone's interested in checking it out (and I would enjoy the patronage!), the URL is http://RunRatRun.com/. Thanks for reading!
