Link Building or Branding for Ecommerce?

Hello,

It seems hard to rank my eCommerce category page keywords ( niche is leather outfits)

Few says, do branding for eCommerce. As brand is build, keywords will automatically rank. Is this true? how to build brand and make it authoritative?

Or link building ( Guest posts/ PBNs/Niche Edits) will help me to rank the keywords? ( Only guest posts are working for me. Invested much money on PBNs and niche edits, but no improvement seen in ranking)

Please help and guide me as I am not getting any sale.

It can help with conversions, long-term customer or maybe traffic from social channels.

But it will not rank you organically in search.

Branding is not replacement for link building. You should do both.
