This is not really a guide, just sharing about how I personally view SEO, not sure if it'll help you but hopefully it can give you a different perspective if you're having trouble understanding.

Again, just sharing my thoughts, no real credibility other than having been able to keep a job mainly in SEO for a few years.

I like to look at it like how human relationships, where each website is a person, and where Google is that guy that knows a guy.

How would Google rank 'you' then?

1. On-Page
How you look, first impressions, how easy you are to get along with and interact with.

2. Off-Page / Backlinking
Your authority, who endorses you / approves of you?

Would being endorsed by a well-known and well-liked person be better than being endorsed by 100 nobodies?

3. Technical
Your internal wiring, health, the under the skin factors.

You could be smart and well-dressed but take way too long to answer a simple question.

4. Content
The way you speak, do you use complicated language when you're speaking to toddlers? Or are you appropriate and match your target audience?

Do you even speak at all?

Also, just food for thought for those spend adverse, money can help you open doors and make connections you otherwise would not be able to (not quickly at least).

Probably are way more factors here, and you may not agree with my thoughts, which is fine, I'd love to hear your perspectives though.

Really appreciate the way you broke down SEO into human-like relationships. Makes it much easier to understand, especially for beginners. The part about how backlinks are like endorsements from people we trust — that's a solid perspective. Thanks for sharing this!"

Fairly basic. Maybe helpful for newbies.
Thanks! Yep was trying to keep it simple because I find that too many people are overthinking it. It's something you'll outgrow probably a week into SEO. :D

Although a good approach to SEO is to produce valuable content, build quality backlinks and continuously optimize as your site grows.

Loved how you explained SEO through real life relationships especially the backlinks as endorsement part.

Of course, I liked much, It's easy and relatable,

I understand what you are trying to say. Your comparison between SEO and human relationships is very interesting. It makes it easier to understand the different factors that Google considers when ranking a website. Your breakdown of on-page, off-page/backlinking, technical, and content factors is quite clear and relatable. It's true that money can help in making connections and opening doors. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and giving a different perspective on SEO.

Love the analogy—makes SEO feel more human. Especially liked the "Google is that guy" part.

on-page and content is nearly the same; on-page is mainly content + design + CTA

other than that, niche matters a lot, local, national, international, etc
