I work with someone who drives traffic to their blog using some type of advertising. The following images show real-time Analytics data, with the primary source being listed as "Interstitial."

I initially thought the traffic was coming from PropellerAds, but this platform has a negative reputation.

Is there anyone here who is an expert in Analytics and can help uncover the actual traffic source?

If we figure this out, I’m happy to share their strategy for AdSense/ADX arbitrage.

gpt: this appears to be a highly sophisticated bot traffic that simulates real user behavior

do not engage with non reputable traffic source, it will waste your money and time. stick with x, fb etc.

I recommend choosing only reputable traffic sources that are approved by partners to ensure a sustainable revenue stream

Hey

Interstitial traffic refers to full-screen ads that appear at natural transition points within an app or website, such as between page loads or after a user action. These ads are commonly used in mobile advertising and arbitrage strategies because of their high visibility and CTR potential.

However, their effectiveness depends on traffic quality, user intent, and compliance with platform policies. On networks like Google ADX, improper use of interstitials, especially from low-retention or forced-click sources can trigger invalid traffic (IVT) flags, lower RPM, or even result in account delisiting.

The key is to balance aggressive monetization with user experience to maintain sustainable revenue.

hi
can you share strategy for AdSense/ADX arbitrage.?

can you tell us more about the key, how can we maintain it?

Great question, brother.

Interstitials can be gold, high CTR, high RPM, but only when done right. Overdo it or use them carelessly, and you’ll burn your traffic, destroy session quality, and worse, get flagged for invalid activity by Google ADX.

Here’s how to maintain the balance and play the long game:

1. Only show interstitials during natural transitions, after user actions, between content, or before exiting. Avoid showing them on entry or stacking too many too soon.

2. Pay attention to the Frequency
Less is more. 1–2 interstitials per session are usually safe. Anything more feels aggressive and kills UX. Always test to find your best spot.

3. Monitor Your Metrics, Brother
Keep an eye on:
  • Bounce rate
  • Session duration
  • Pages per session

If these dips after a monetization change, that’s a red flag there. You’re overdoing it.

4. Please Use Quality Traffic Only
Don’t run interstitials on low-retention, cheap, or junk traffic. It leads to accidental clicks, IVT flags, and potential bans. Quality in = quality out. I have listed platforms with good traffic. You can check that out.

5. Follow Google's Rules
Google AdSense and ADX are strict about how interstitials are shown. Auto-redirects, forced clicks, and policy violations = strikeouts. Stay compliant to stay profitable.

6. High RPM is great. But sustainable RPM is better. Users who stay, engage, and return will bring more consistent earnings than users who bounce after one annoying ad.

What will determine how successful you become as an arbitrage blogger is when you know when to push and when to pull back. Find the balance, respect your audience, and your revenue will last longer, with less stress.

Hope I answered your question brother.

Last year I tried to load Google adx, but failed.
My 30+ adx accounts were suspended.

At first, I learned some loading methods from some people, using residential proxy IP, fingerprint browser, high ECPM keywords, manual clicks, and browsing ads. Although the account income exceeded $200 per day, the account had a large amount of non-filling after about 5 days, and the account was eventually suspended.

Later, I bought some POP traffic from some traffic selling companies. To increase the impression volume of the ADX account, and then manually load a small amount, as described above. Then the account could last for 10 days, but in the end a large amount of income was deducted, and the account was still suspended.

Do you have a safer ADX arbitrage method?
