Hey guys,

Yeah it's me again with another journey thread... this time however I am more determined than ever, Since I have been working the last couple months at my new job (Igaming) I have been fascinated by the whole industry and its inner workings...

For this reason I wish to start this new journey as a fun side project to see where it can go, I am very aware that it's a highly competitive niche given that SEO is the main way most casinos/affiliates bring in a steady amount of visits to their sites(unless you have casino licenses for ad networks etc..)

I'm not looking to make "X" amount of money with this project as I want to use it as a learning experience to open up the doors for me in this niche given that I have started my new career in this world..

Domain Name
Website content and affiliate offers - Working on this at the moment
SEO/PAID Promo - Working on this in conjunction with content and affiliate offers etc..
Email Funnel - Setting up later down the line to target higher spenders with more lucrative offers
Analytics - I will be closeley monitoring all the necessary analytics and optimizing accordingly

Update so far

Website is up and running with the mercury theme, demo content has been added

Catching up on the documentation for the theme and how to change layouts etc... will update the site with my own offers and info once I get the hang of it.

As far as marketing goes I have my eyes on native/pop/push etc

Quick question, I'm looking for some more insight on this specific question...

If I plan on using paid traffic for my offers, can I just create a landing page for each offer I plan to test and link directly to these landing pages to convert viewers into players? I would use a funnel builder like systeme.io

I would like to do this to split test various offers and optimize for the best converting offers instead of filling my home page with offers that are less likely to convert...

Any insight on this would be appreciated.

It's always best to create separate landing pages for offers -> convert into players. Maybe take the most popular offers and create landing pages, then drive traffic to those landing pages.

At the moment I have not unfortunately, as I work in a different department that has nothing to do with content creation/marketing however I am beginning to understand more closely popular trends etc…

For the time being I plan on running push/native to see how things go and what offers gain traction, once I have some insights I will begin to include seo also

At the moment I do not have a particular angle I wish to follow, however I feel like I am more inclined to go the betting route over the casino route.

I have worked both in customer support and my new roll is focused more on the betting side of things and i can tell that the people who "bet" on things like races/sports are a more serious player compared to your happy go lucky casino player who is only after their free spins etc...

However I do understand that from a psychological standpoint luring in a plyer with a min deposit offer and free spins works... its just the quality of player can vary greatly I feel. speaking from experience from my CS role prior I've seen so many ppl just deposit the minimum for free spins and just stop playing right after.

I've also however seen accounts with a lifetime loss of over 500K - 1M before just on casino playing slots/BJ etc.. so its a a hit or miss kind of deal
