I’m currently working on a crypto casino project. We have both a Telegram channel and a group with a decent number of members. While we’ve been sharing news updates and organizing occasional events, we’re still struggling with low engagement — not many members are reacting or participating actively.

I’m wondering if anyone here has experience in growing or managing engagement in crypto-related communities (especially on Telegram)? Any tips or insights would be super appreciated.

Also curious about this! Following this with interest! Hope to see someone add more here.

Is the project only casino games?

What are the core needs or pain points of the users? Eg moving funds into the coin/wallet? Learning the games?

Without more info it's hard to give practical advice. There's generic advice like;
Run competitions or offer bonuses in the TG.

But those things don't always give the stickiness to keep people around.

You should focus on finding proper audience and mass dm with your promotion or events and if you allready build some background and proof of work it should provide you more engagement. Try also to drive traffic from other social medias

Share free valuable information. Create a quick ebook and share for free with your members. Make them feel anxious to see a post from you.

We currently offer slot games, crash, and sportsbook from providers like Pragmatic Play and SABA. Honestly, I’m still not sure what the core issue is. We’ve launched a few free credit giveaway campaigns for players, and while they worked during the promotion, things quickly became quiet again once the giveaways ended.

how do u go about finding high quality audiences? how do you discover them?

Try mixing things up with interactive content like polls, quizzes, or quick prediction games related to upcoming matches or crypto prices. People love to share opinions when it's fun and easy. Also, spotlight active members or winners to make others want to join in. For news accounts, avoid using the same device, IP, or number- telegram can connect the dots fast. Go slow, make it look natural.

Try giveaways, fun polls, and tagging users—it boosts quick engagement!

  • Organize mini games : Quiz, price prediction, small giveaway.
  • Share information quickly : News updates, concise analysis.
  • Encourage discussion : Ask open questions, poll opinions.
  • Invite KOL or admin AMA : Q&A according to schedule.
  • Create exclusive content : Infographics, internal analysis.
  • Personalize your community : Tag active members, create your own roles.

People gamble a lot. And everyone needs a new chance, a new path, new things.

Create a free e-book or video. Set up a form site asking for an email address and full name.

Spread spam/ads in gambling and various fields and distribute your book to people. If they start with you, they’ll continue with you. People only care about making money. The veterans are already in certain places — your goal could be newer investors.

I’ve managed a few crypto- and casino-related Telegram communities, and low engagement is a common issue even with a decent member count. What’s worked well for me is introducing simple daily games or polls with small rewards, running weekly engagement leaderboards, and giving personalized welcomes with bonus offers to new members.

Hosting occasional AMA sessions or Q&As also boosts interaction, especially if you can bring in someone interesting. Try to mix up the content — too many news updates can feel robotic, so adding casual chats, memes, or market talk helps keep the vibe alive.

Partnering with other crypto groups for events or giveaways can also bring fresh energy. Tools like Combot can help you track engagement and adjust based on real data. Hope this helps!

I had clients who promoted casinos in telegram, quite successfully

Try polls, memes, daily questions, and small giveaways—those work great to spark chat. Also, appoint active mods to keep convos flowing. People stay where it feels alive.

if you want customers or clients to approach you then you also need to be creative with how you invite them, giveaways is a surefire way to entice people especially with people who loves to gamble.

As well as in other social networks. In addition to giving away gifts, I would try to write about gambling news and interesting facts.

Try running more interactive polls or quizzes about your project and the broader crypto space. Giveaways for *active* members can really boost participation; make them exclusive.
