Im not complaining but holy, as a kid i would get atleast a couple hundred within a week in like 2019

this is good original content with good thumbnails and titles - even if it wasnt, how bad does a video have to be for it to only get 3 views?? It literally went down? It was at 4 yesterday now its at 3, this is crazy

I have studied, i know what a good video looks like (trust me) - i am taking ANY advice ty

(btw in the same niche i have seen very similar pieces of content get (im not even kidding) 20k - 500k+ in the first week from channels just posting whatever and i have also seen newly created channels like last week with the same thing)

I literally have same problem. Shorts do get some views , but long form same as you 1-5 views

Its so weird though, because even just yesterday ive seen many videos recommended to me and before i even clicked them i knew they were from an actual 8 year old, but they had 50k - 200k views. I just dont know what they did, how is anyone new supposed to compete if their videos literally are NOT shown - i have 2fa, verified phone number, the account is aged, i made it like a year ago and just activated the channel etc, i dont understand.

YouTube views are falling but can get advance with the creation or posting on related groups or channels on other social app to gain more views from the target app.

i mean how is this guy getting more views than me???

It seems like nowadays you have to have some sort of magic sauce/trick and unless you find it, you won't make it.

I think mulling over a difference in content and A/B testing for 3 vs 4 views AND <72 hours is a bit premature. Another thing to keep in mind is that likely any methods that were applied to any platform or industry back in 2019 wouldn't be relevant now, the algorithm for new channel discovery is entirely different, and there are exponentially more creators in the space.

This would be a different discussion if you had accurate YOY or MOM data and were creating distinctions between 5k and 50k views.

Feels like YouTube is in lottery mode again. Perfect content but zero traction makes no sense lately

It happens. Sometimes Youtube shadow ban us (not distributing the videos) for unknown reason. You need some luck besides good content.
