I have a handful now, 2 got absolutely destroyed in the last Google update but the rest are holding up fine.

Yes I never change the technique if it works. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Hey guys,
This is my 4th update for my $10k per month niche website journey. Start from #1 if you are new.

OK so in the last post, I finally finished setting up my buyers guide articles, my long form informational content and the rest of the website so now I needed to market the website to start driving traffic.

My plan was to do SEO but we all know this would take time to deliver results so in the mean time I had to drive traffic in a different way to kickstart sales and get engagement on my affiliate website. My first 2 strategies to get FREE traffic and sales was Pinterest and Reddit.

Pinterest method
For Pinterest, I decided to go the marketing route and create some compelling content and pins that look interesting. For my niche, I did some research for issues and solutions that people face and made a pin for them using Canva.com
This meant I had to create over 50 pins which took me just over 1 hour. Now that I have 50 pins, I scheduled them to be posted over a week and used the right Pinterest tags and keywords to ensure I drive traffic and get people to engage with the pin.

Reddit method
For Reddit, I decided to use some old aged Reddit accounts and find some niche subreddits related to my niche. I found over 10 closely related subreddits. My plan was to create some Reddit posts as a buyer looking to get some recommendations for a product in my niche. I asked what they thought of (insert my affiliate site).

I posted this to over 10 subreddits every day under new accounts for around 7 days.
After a week of doing both Reddit and Pinterest marketing, I checked my stats and I made 2 Clickbank sales for $100+ in total commissions. This was entirely with free traffic and only around 2 hours of work a day for a week.

It was not a bad way to start generating sales. Now that I had some sales in the bag, and it was a good way to check if my niche was a good selection for long term growth, I made a plan to scale this free direct traffic and make more sales.
I'll explain how I scaled this up for less than $50 a week and started to generate $200 per week in passive income in my next update.

Stay tuned.
with reddit, did you change proxies with accounts when posting?

No way. It is tough nowadays
Yes, You can.
You need to be focused, patient, have a method that works that you can follow (You can follow the methods in this journey - you just need to make more researches about them to make them work for you), and be committed.

Commitment will always be the main challenge. Duh...

great journey, maybe you could share some insights how have you adapted your approach 2022>2025?

I also think a update should be in place to be honest. I think there was a massive shift in how search is being made in 2023 (chatgpt). Things might not work out as well now adays

A lot has changed since I made this thread in 2022. You can still use the knowledge from the basics and twist it and automate it. Now you won’t have to worry about content creator for example since you can create hundreds if not thousands of articles, Web 2.0 link content etc

I also think an update should be in place to be honest. I think there was a massive shift in how search is being made in 2023 (chatgpt). Things might not work out as well now adays

It will be a lot different now but not necessarily harder. May even be easier since AI automates the hell out of everything and you won’t need a huge budget to do it

amazing share great journey

Just read the whole journey, awesome stuff.

Of the 2 that got destroyed in the G update, is it possible to fix them or do you just ditch them and continue with the others and build new?

Ditch and continue with them and replace the destroyed ones with new ones

Great story. Read it in one breath! Good luck with future projects.
Appreciate that man, glad you enjoyed it, definitely still works in 2025, just need to alter it and twist
