Hi. When connecting to instagram on my phone with a mobile proxy from a different country, what should I do when I turn the proxy off?

Do I need to logout before disconnecting proxy connection?

Anything else to be aware of? Thanks

It's best to log out before turning off the proxy to avoid triggering security checks, and try to keep consistent IP usage to prevent account verification issues.

To avoid being flagged when disabling a proxy, log out before disconnecting, then log back in with the original IP. Avoid sudden IP changes and use a stable proxy to maintain account reliability.

Definitely avoid any IP change for the account

No need to log out — just switch off the proxy and give it a minute before using Instagram again. Stick to consistent locations to avoid any hiccups.

Install an app called "Shelter" from F-Droid which will add "Work Profile" in your app drawer. In the work profile install all the apps like instagram, for proxy use "Super Proxy" from playstore. Add your proxy creds. And go to settings and turn on "Always On VPN" and "Block connection without VPN" and you are set. This way you no app inside the work profile will run without proxy (VPN)

- Use static residential proxy, most of them have unlimited bandwidth if you are managing handful of accounts only.
- There will be a button "Pause work apps" which will turn off the work profile whenever you want.

Rent 1 Ip for 1 year basis or try to rent at least 1 month basis. Don't change your ip frequently.

To avoid IP changes when using Instagram on your phone, make sure to log out before switching networks. When logging back in, use the same IP address and avoid frequent IP changes.
Alternatively, you can log into your accounts using a browser by setting up a proxy with an antidetect browser profile. This way, you won’t have to worry about IP changes when closing or reopening your profile.

I think the best way is to have a long-term and stable IP and use 2 devices.

When you turn the proxy off, just fresh the instagram app so that no content gets routed through your original IP

Yes, logout before disconnecting proxy. Do not change the proxy at any time, keep using the same proxy.

Just so that you wont be flagged of doing suspicious according to Instagram's security features its best if you log out of your account first before turning off your proxy. Also before logging back in wait for a few more minutes after disconnecting your proxy to avoid getting flagged.

Best to log out first before switching the proxy off. Take the extra steps to avoid from getting banned.

When turning off the mobile proxy, it's best to log out of Instagram first to avoid triggering security flags (like sudden location changes). After disabling the proxy, wait a few minutes before logging back in to let your IP stabilize. Avoid frequent switches to prevent account restrictions.

Should "Super Proxy" be installed inside the "Shelter"? Thanks
