How long does it take for dofolow backlinks to take effect?

Backlinks are not part of the algo!
When you think otherwise, why dont you give proof instead of just repeating what other people say?
There is a 1000$ reward waiting for you!
I didn't understand the statement, if Google has patents on backlinks, then it is part of the algorithm, or does Google's algorithm work without links? And Larry Page's diploma thesis can be thrown out? =)

I dont understand what you say about patents on backlinks.
Larry Page thesis was written about 100 years ago. Pagerank was outphased around 2012. Google has way better ways to make SERPS
It doesn't make sense for Google to use backlinks as a ranking factor. They know 95% is fake and not a real recommandation as was the original idea.
Why show a Chinese restaurant in Paris in the SERP for Italian restaurant London because the first has more fake backlinks ? That would be really stupid and a hell of a good recipe to trash their search engine.
And yes, i know the example is exagerated.
And yes, i know the stories about good and toxic links etc. All bogus invented by backlinks selling scammers who will do everything to remain their pre 2012 moneymachines.
I also think most of them dont even know themselves they are scammers and just chatting after each other.

Still think backlinks are part of the algo? Please proof it (not by a manipulated casestudie) and you can collect a 1000$ reward.

Full effect takes 14-90 days, which can be reduced to 7-14 days through technical means. It is recommended to continue monitoring for 6 weeks before evaluating SEO effectiveness.
Sometimes GSC is detecting new links within hours. Why would the algo to account the spreading of juice takes months? Its a well spread rumour because in months you cant tell what happened on your own site or other sites in the relevant SERP.
I eat a chocolate bar, wait 3 months while working on my site, so does the competition and SERP changes in this period. Must have been the chocolatebar :D

sometimes seo tools fail to recongnize some links. This might be the cause for you.

Also probably the links are not worthy enough to move the dice.

or may be it would take more time to take the effect. (most quality backlinks are in effect within 2-3 weeks)

Do follow backlinks typically take a few weeks to a few months to impact rankings, depending on factors like domain authority, indexing speed and competition. Patience and consistent link building are key.

That means I can judge the effect of seo after six months. I doubt this .

Emily Wilson is a bot just repeating other bots and just like all other participants in this thread. Except you and me ;-)

Why doubt it? You can check for yourself. Just use an SEO tool like Ahrefs and look at a few dozen—or even hundreds—of sites to see when they started getting links and when traffic began to pick up.

When you analyze enough sites, you’ll start to see clear patterns. I’ve worked on many projects, and this is the kind of dynamic I consistently observe—which is why I use those terms. You’re free to do your own research and come to your own conclusions.

I purchased several blogs that seem to have good authority to promote my article, and I added ******** links to my website in those articles. The articles have already been indexed by Google, but I noticed that Google Search Console hasn't recorded them as links. I also checked on Ahrefs and SEMrush, and similarly, many of the links weren't found.
Where did you purchase the links from? Is he an experienced seo provider ?

There are 2 kinds of correlation. The one in case is the one where 2 parameters are influenced by the same cause on a higher level. In this case its involvement. People who buy backlinks work on their site otherwise also. But thus work is causing the rise in visitors and not the backlinks. Eating chocolate bars while writing good content, doesnt make chocolate bars a ranking factor!

The other correlation is causal relation. This is also happening in this case (on a small scale). But its just the other way round. More visitors means more People who might leave a backlink somewhere.

But as said, thus discussion should start with a good hypothesis and there is none. Why would Google use backlinks as a ranking factor when they know they are getting fooled?
Spare me the bogus about good and toxic and so on. Ive seen it all .

Do-follw backlinks take weeks or months to work. High-quality sites help faster. Google needs time to find and index them. Be patient—SEO takes time!

Yes, yes, Google patents are going to the dump, pagerank and leaks about it in May 2024, in API too. And you have some local search as evidence (where links are not such an important factor). Okay, what factors will I use to promote a newly created page in the search results? What would you do?

Backlinks as a ranking factor is an unlikely story as Google knows they are getting fooled and there are way better methods. But i cant proof it. As its always impossible to proof something doesn't exist. Thats why i ask for proof backlinks are part of the algo and even have a 1000$ reward waiting for this proof.
You should just try to satisfy your target group. You might even get a backlink from them ;-)

Okay, you've convinced me, I'm hallucinating when I buy links and after 2-4 weeks my rankings grow) It just happens every time. I'm just curious, really curious, how do you think rankings grow in search engines, without links?

Proof it and you earn 1000$. Whats not clear about this?
Or why dont you first refute my explanation why it doesnt make sense? It all starts there, dont you think?

I eat a chocolatebar and work on my website for two weeks. Then my positions rise. Happens all the time. Im very curious how you grow your rankings without eating chocolatebars.

Okay, I'll go eat some chocolate)

It usually takes 2-4 weeks after reindexing for your links to "work" in Google. But if you have high competition for a keyword, you won't see anything. At the same time, Google has a patent that first lowers your positions for queries.
As you said, the ranking for related queries has indeed dropped by one page. Is there a chance for it to recover?

Of course, it will be restored if you do not delete these links and continue to put links to this page. But there is a problem here, according to the patent this can last 75 days, but this happens rarely, usually after a week everything starts to grow. And usually not the whole page falls, but only the queries that you promote with links.
