I purchased several blogs that seem to have good authority to promote my article, and I added ******** links to my website in those articles. The articles have already been indexed by Google, but I noticed that Google Search Console hasn't recorded them as links. I also checked on Ahrefs and SEMrush, and similarly, many of the links weren't found.

Instead of just inserting links into existing indexed content, craft a fresh 3–4 line paragraph and naturally embed your website link within it. This helps attract Googlebot to revisit the page, crawl the new content, and discover the added link. For better indexing, consider building 2–3 contextual links to the target page, increasing the chances of faster crawling.
I might have expressed it unclearly — all the links were added in newly published articles.

It takes forever as backlinks are not part of the Google algo.

No backlink database shows realtime data. They all update periodically. If the articles are already indexed in Google, that's all you need to know.

GSC is slow, that’s normal. Ahrefs and SEMrush also don’t catch everything, especially if the blogs have weak crawling or low activity. Check if the actual links are indexed, not just the articles.To speed things up, push some traffic through social media or build tier 2 links like crowd posts or PBNs.

Google can take weeks to recognize new backlinks, and tools like Ahrefs and SEMrush might not immediately find them. Google doesn't instantly record all backlinks, especially if they are not paid or PBN based. Google often identifies them and avoid. Besides, if the links are no-follow, they may not be shown on search console.
The another reason may be that Google hasn't still crawled these links or not indexing. Ahrefs and SEMrush are not always updated like Google does. Hence, some links may be shown later.
The solution is to try to build natural backlinks from a High DA site. Use Guest posting or Digital PR and wait for a while so that Google can identify them properly.

It’s normal for backlinks to appear in GSC, Ahrefs, and SEMrush. Google doesn’t index all links immediately, and third-party tools have their crawling limitations
