My Reddit Account Creation Process

This is the way I create Reddit accounts in 2025. The accounts made since January 2025 though this method are still alive. I use my Windows 10 laptop and top-notch 4G proxies for this process. I prefer Incogniton as my anti-detect browser, but any similar software works as long as it matches the proxy's country/state, date, and time. There are no other major tweaks (I use the default ones).

Initial Setup

  1. I set the proxy OS spoofing to match my laptop (Windows 10, 64-bit).
  2. I configure a new profile in my anti-detect browser.

Browser Configuration

  1. I start by building a cookie profile:
    • I visit major social media sites (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest) and accept their cookies.
    • I then browse various websites based on my future account's persona (news, sports, perfume, car sites, etc.). I accept their cookies, too.
    • The goal is to create a browsing history with 30-50 visited sites + cookies from each site.
  2. Once I've built a sufficient history, I log into my Gmail account. For this, I use my own created Gmails.

Reddit Account Creation

  1. I begin searching for trending topics (e.g., "iPhone 16E").
  2. On Google, I search: "iPhone 16E" + "Reddit"
  3. I access Reddit, which detects my Gmail account, but I don't log in yet.
  4. I scroll through the Reddit thread, then return to Google search results.
  5. I click on another Reddit link and read the top comments. Being a trending topic, there should be more than one Reddit links.
  6. I attempt to like the top comment, which prompts me to sign up.
  7. I create an account using my Gmail.
  8. After signing up, I return and like the top comment.

Account Warmup

  1. I scroll through Reddit for a while (opening pictures, videos) without much interaction on the first day (no likes or comments).
  2. After 12-24 hours, I search for small or niche subreddits that interest me.
  3. I sub-comment (First times I only reply to the other comments, I don't comment to the main post) on a new post (Sort by Top > Now) in a subreddit that isn't heavily moderated.
  4. I avoid commenting or creating threads in large subreddits like News to prevent instant bans.

Important Notes

  • I always aim to act like a human, not a bot. Scrolling alone isn't enough; interaction is key.
  • I ensure my anti-detect browser is properly configured to match the proxy location and time, and I also check it for the leaks on browserleaks.com.
Good luck with that & have a nice Friday!

Fantastic guide!

Can you just expand a bit on what you mean by "proxy OS spoofing to match my laptop"? Also, wouldn't it be suspicious if we use mobile proxies (which probably use android phones) and we set anti detect browsers with windows?

How long does it take for an account to be warm enough to the point where no matter how many times you use a low quality proxy or VPN or multiple deleted/removed comments/posts won't toast your account? I have a 3 year old Reddit account and it has a lowest CQS. I delete and my comments and posts very often. I have a few removed posts. I use a VPN on that account. Yet for some reason, the account has not been hit with Reddit's spam filters.

How long do you reckon it would take for a new account to be nearly impossible to get autobanned by Reddit filters?
have you been banned or shadowbanned before? i think people who have been banned before are more likely to get shadowbanned because reddit can detect similar behaviours between other bans.
following this process i made 10 accounts same kind of proxies and new gmail accounts but 4 were suspended and the other still alive, the suspensions from reddit somewhat look random at some point
i think they arbitrarily and randomly doing it as well going after the repeat offenders, reddit wants to sanitize the site so they can sell it/or monetize the content

Gonna add some your ideas into my automation script. See if it helps me get banned less after this bs update.

I am only 2 days into this but I get a feeling that rotating residential proxies may be worse (or no better) than a VPN endpoint. A VPN is probably more natural behavior than a residential IP jumping cities all over the country in a week! Mobile proxies are likely fine - but much more expensive.
Interesting. Yeah that theory makes sense. VPNs do look more natural in behavior. However, Reddit for some reason hates VPNs. They block those IPs from datacenters instantly. Then the moment you register, your account is very prone to getting flagged for an auto-ban. I personally use VPN on my main account. It's aged and has a lot of comment/post karma. However, my CQS dropped from HIGH to LOWEST recently when I found out I was unable to participate in one of the subreddits that I participated on a regular basis.

Yes I've been shadowbanned a lot in the past because I would make throwaway accounts to post on niche subreddits like doctor advice just because I was too afraid to ask that on my main. I would use VPNs. However, I never knew why I was shadowbanned. That was when I started to use BHW methods to successfully grow accounts. I've learned a lot in over a month since starting this process. I got shadowbanned accounts a few times earlier but that was because I underestimated the importance of CQS. Comment karma is not enough.

Perfect. Manual actions while farming accounts / multi-accounting works much better than using bots for the same, in terms of survival of accounts and accounts not getting flagged.

When do you start adding links? Is there a situation like deletion after adding a link?
After the account have some stable history: at least 20 comments on different topics, over 200 karma and few weeks age. I did not got my links deleted yet.

You just described the idea of spoofing: It is used to simulate other OS TCP fingerprints. For example, for my windows 10 64bit, I use the win 10 64bit's spoofing, so my proxy will looks real.

Really appreciate your valuable and helpful guide.

My pleasure! Good luck with your project. Please keep us updated.

Thanks for the reply! I guess I wasn't aware that there are proxy providers that offer that possibility. Are you willing to share a proxy provider that makes that possible? Either here or privately if you don't want to share publicly.

Yes, there are proxy providers who offer this feature.

BlackHatWorld currently offers a market for Proxies, each all gone through mod/staff checks.
However, if you are looking into something more personalized, I would highly suggest opening an WTB instead; Read the section(s) rules, specify all of your requirements inside and you will get the BEST OF.

Cheers!

How do you bypass the Gmail verification? Besides buying a phone code. I don't want to spend money on that. How do you sign up for a new GMail without getting Google to ask for a number to verify? I checked the proxy and it's a very low fraud score. YET GMail is still asking for phone. Only once did I successfully sign up for GMail without a phone required.

When do you start posting ?
I comment on other comments from the 1st day.

Some I bought, mostly I create with my phone numbers. Since few months ago (even 1 year), Google deleted the option to make an account without a phone number verification. There were some methods to verify it, but those are not available anymore. I also tried to use sms verification sites, but it looks like all the phone numbers (the ones tried by me, at least) were already verified.

Which anti detected browser you are using?

For my personal-made Gmails (not the ones bought from another place), the Gmails created were made on the same profiles as the Reddit accs, and keep logged into them since the day #1.

In the antidetect browser, I left google.com tab opened, so it is open each time I start to use the profile. I do a short "news search" about the {insert daily context}, and after I access 1-3 big news sites, I go back to the google tab and wrote "daily news + reddit", and that's how I access Reddit after (it's a +10 - +15 extra work to do that).

I do not clear the anti detect profile's history.
are you using Google Sign-In/Google OAuth 2.0 to create accounts or are you verifying the code from a gmail account?

Anyone use the cookie robot on adspower? It looks like a beast and complicated

Thanks for this amazing thread! My question will be about gmails. You mentioned you create your own gmails with your own phone number. How do you scale this ? I dont remember the exact number (5-10) but there should be a limited number of gmails you can create with you own number.

Additionally, if I use UK proxy and I live in another country I dont believe using my own countries number would be trustworthy.

What more insights can you give us regarding this ?

Thanks a lot!
