Getting People to Add You?

Recently I hear Facebook has been cracking down on people who mass-add friends, so I've been trying to get people to add me on things like Mafia Wars and FarmVille. Does anyone have any good tips on doing this to get more friends?

Even though Mafia Wars and FarmVille friends are pretty much useless unless you are going to be promoting a Mafia Wars and/or FarmVille related offer, getting them to add you is simple.

Just join a bunch of Mafia Wars/FarmVille groups/pages and post "add me" on the group/page walls. Just make sure you randomize your "add me" message, use a considerable timeout in between wall postings, and spread this out over multiple accounts. You might also want to use exclusive proxies as well (if you are going to be using multiple accounts).

Just posting 'add me' too many times will get your account banned. You need to keep your posting rate really slow.

Exactly. That is why I suggested a randomized "add me" message, a considerable timeout between wall postings, have the wall posting spread out across multiple accounts, and always use exclusive proxies.

This is not the limit in regard to friend adding, rather the limit in regard to the amount of friends you can have and if you try to add someone when you have 5000 friends then you can no longer add anyone.


I think that it is better to have multiple accounts with 2-5k friends each, to minimize risk of being deleted.
