Anyone uses the compilation videos to get the watch hours?

I see there are a lot of channels that have music compilations like "best techno songs 2020" etc.. that ae few hours long.

I know those videos can not be monetised, am just curious has anyone used videos like that to reach the 4000 watch hours to get the channel approved for monetization?

its very risky to use copyrighted music, instead go for simple videos like facecam gaming videos and then send the watch hours to it. When youtube sees creator presence in a video, the chances of getting the channel monetized is pretty high.

I do not want my face on the videos, anything else that works as good?

Just buy 4000 hours on a SMM panel if you don't want to deal with it
And use a super basic video, this kind of copyrighted stuff can be risky as mentioned above

Any SMM that you recommend from own experience?

Also supper basic video like loyalty free music mix or something along the lines?

Am probably overcomplicating...

@BLGProductions mentioned certain type of videos increases chances of gettijg the channel approved for monetization. Any recommendations for a super basic video that could work in that way?

I prefer to not recommend a specific SMM, as I don't use them much, but there are several on this forum marketplace.

For example, a royalty-free song in a 10 hours video (maybe just one song repated 100X or several songs, whichever you prefer), that kind of video that people use to sleep, I guess it can work well for that, it should be approved and it's a very large video

You can hire freelancer to do the job. I saw lot of people in the freelancing sites offering this kind of service.

It’s not good to use copyrighted content, but you can create something like a relaxing music video that loops for hours without copyright and easily reach 4000 hours.

Yeah, I’ve seen people do this to hit 4,000 hours quicker, but since they can’t be monetized, it’s a bit of a gamble. Some just use them to get approved and then switch to original content. Are you thinking of trying it?

you can go to upwork and hire someone who is ready to record their-self either playing some game or talking about some random topic, there are also smm panels here that provide you with those videos + 4000 hours package. So choose according to your budget.

Goodluck.

Am more interested in quality when it comes to those SMM panels, so they do not f**k things up instead of delivering. Ill be PMing you some questions about your packages.

Everyone thinks they'll make a quick buck.

95% of the channels are not accepted even if they have 4000 watchhours.
Quality is required!

And you are some smart ass or what with that comment?

At least, add some value to these videos such as commentary or original content, to avoid being flagged for reused content.

  1. Don’t buy views—it will kill your channel.
  2. Using music is a bad idea unless your channel is specifically about that genre of music. There could also be issues with monetization—there are a lot of "buts" here.
  3. The best thing you can do is keep making videos. Improve your content, work on better thumbnails. I’ve had over 10 channels that ended up dead, and I only started monetizing around the 6th channel. Now, I have 5 channels that are monetized.
