hallo!

I just found a backlink referring to a client's website from BBC (DO -FOLLOW).
the problem is its referring to old website which my client abandoned.

Now I see that old website already has millions of backlinks and a DR of 59 and AS of 28.
Strange thing is it has been remade as a gambling website.

I am not able to contact the owner of the old domain and I don't think he will sell it back for cheap.

What is the best way to get back that backlink from BBC to the new website?

thanks in advance:)

Try [email protected] (https://www.bbc.com/news/55077304)
And good luck!

look for anything along the lines of editorial news desk, and use a verifier before sending out emails.
what do you mean by "use a verifier" ?
like just proof read the mail or something else ?

So for example if you send an email to [email protected], it may not work, so google email verifier, and check it across 2 or three of them.

Then send it.
wow! so I checked it with hunter and it passed 3 checks but last one failed where it says 'This email address can't receive emails'

Then find one with the full checks, and send this out one anyway. Who knows, it may work.
