and what can I do if I have a site in a language I don't know with 1000+ articles?
Same thing happened to my website. Was getting bits of traffic, had put in about 20 AI articles and no more traffic, impressions also dropped close to 0. Question is now if I rewrite them, will the website gain traffic again or is it “shadow banned” now and can RIP

Hiring and trusting a professional proofreader who is proficient in the language is the best approach in that case, I believe, but it might be quite costly.

What's the point of using an AI detector unless you are selling such or 'hand-written' content yourself?
I am generating content in bulk through the API, set different dates of publication and link internally to other content. Never experienced any indexing issue with this approach.
No, I think you can trash and forgot them.
I’m using AI detector because seems that google use it in the algorithm.
Maybe you are lucky, I have two websites that survived to the AI content.

I am not sure how these detectors works. I tried handwritten content I bough from native speaker and it shows 87% AI. strange!
Maybe your writer give you AI text. I tried many times originaly.ai, it’s perfect. Also zerogpt is good

I believe it all comes down to how you train the AI i.e. your prompting skills come into play here but it's always good to see people carry out such experiments.

well i would recommend to watch this case study by Julian. exactly what you are worried about. I follow him on AI content and he has really good videos around such topics. Maybe I am wrong but his case study proves these detectors are nothing but just programs to find patterns.
