Couple of possible reasons you were hit with a shadowban.

1. It had no karma and post history. Aged or not, this is still treated as a 'new' account according to Reddit. This is especially true if there is no comment karma. Seems like Reddit emphasizes strongly on this.

2. The proxy was a datacenter. Almost all datacenter proxies get accounts flagged for a shadowban UNLESS the account is aged with a considerable amount of post history. The moment you comment on a datacenter, you'll get banned. You can check the quality of the proxy with http://iphey.com/

3. The subreddit you posted on likely has a CQS or comment karma threshold where users below that are automatically removed. For an account that is considered 'new' (point #1), all it takes is just ONE removed comment/post by an automoderator for your account to be toast.

You need to post 1-2 comments per day the first time you have access to that account. Make sure you only do comments and ONLY on a subreddit that has no CQS or karma requirement. Start off with small or mid-sized ones.

I personally don't like buying Reddit accounts. Too much of a hassle transferring cookies and any baggage that was left behind, like which country IPs whether it was on a datacenter at one point, email attached to it, etc. I just warm mine completely from scratch. If you can't warm a completely new account from scratch, chances are you'll mess up an aged account.

I'm very new to this process. I'm testing like 10 accounts. Only 2 have been banned but that's because I stupidly posted too often when it was too new and posted on a subreddit with a CQS/karma requirement.

It's the same device but it's on anti-detect browser + residential proxies. I haven't tried 4G just yet.

This is the way I create Reddit accounts in 2025. The accounts made since January 2025 though this method are still alive. I use my Windows 10 laptop and top-notch 4G proxies for this process. I prefer Incogniton as my anti-detect browser, but any similar software works as long as it matches the proxy's country/state, date, and time. There are no other major tweaks (I use the default ones).

Initial Setup​

1. I set the proxy OS spoofing to match my laptop (Windows 10, 64-bit).
2. I configure a new profile in my anti-detect browser.

Browser Configuration​

1. I start by building a cookie profile:
   • I visit major social media sites (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest) and accept their cookies.
   • I then browse various websites based on my future account's persona (news, sports, perfume, car sites, etc.). I accept their cookies, too.
   • The goal is to create a browsing history with 30-50 visited sites + cookies from each site.
2. Once I've built a sufficient history, I log into my Gmail account. For this, I use my own created Gmails.

Reddit Account Creation​

1. I begin searching for trending topics (e.g., "iPhone 16E").
2. On Google, I search: "iPhone 16E" + "Reddit"
3. I access Reddit, which detects my Gmail account, but I don't log in yet.
4. I scroll through the Reddit thread, then return to Google search results.
5. I click on another Reddit link and read the top comments. Being a trending topic, there should be more than one Reddit links.
6. I attempt to like the top comment, which prompts me to sign up.
7. I create an account using my Gmail.
8. After signing up, I return and like the top comment.

Account Warmup​

1. I scroll through Reddit for a while (opening pictures, videos) without much interaction on the first day (no likes or comments).
2. After 12-24 hours, I search for small or niche subreddits that interest me.
3. I sub-comment (First times I only reply to the other comments, I don't comment to the main post) on a new post (Sort by Top > Now) in a subreddit that isn't heavily moderated.
4. I avoid commenting or creating threads in large subreddits like News to prevent instant bans.

Important Notes​

• I always aim to act like a human, not a bot. Scrolling alone isn't enough; interaction is key.
• I ensure my anti-detect browser is properly configured to match the proxy location and time, and I also check it for the leaks on browserleaks.com.

Yeah I try to keep the same IP when logged in with the browser running. That's why I use 10-20 min sticky sessions with IP providers. I wonder how big of a difference it makes. I imagine that constantly rotating might trigger Reddit's algorithm since a real person would not rotate this often.

So, creating five accounts simultaneously using a single mobile proxy is not recommended. However, if you change the IP after a few days, will there still be issues when using these accounts?

Not simultaneously. You create acc1, spend a few minutes there and there and close the reddit tab (you can keep google or anything else on tab 2) and the profile. ROTATE THE IP, open profile 2, create acc2, spend some minutes, close the tab & the profile. And so on. If a proxy have a minimum rotation time of 5 minutes, you will have 12 individual IPs so you can do 12 accounts per hour, per proxy.

If you don't change the country IP and (better) if you have the same carrier network, it is no problem, since it is a mobile proxy (I am talking about the time when you create the account).
When you warm the account, it's better to keep the same IP for a few days, or as much as you can.
