Hello everyone,

I'm reaching out to the community because I'm currently facing a pretty tough situation with Stripe, and I'm hoping to gain some insights from others who might have been in a similar boat. After a thorough review, Stripe has decided to cease processing payments for my account due to what they've termed an "unacceptable level of risk." Despite my efforts to clear up any misunderstandings by submitting all the required documentation and making an appeal through the official channels, there's been no change in their decision.

Frustrated, I attempted to escalate the matter by contacting higher management directly, including a detailed email to the CEO. Unfortunately, there hasn't been any acknowledgment or response to my concerns. As it stands, Stripe plans to reverse any pending charges and funds in my account, which is a significant setback for me.

I'm sharing this experience because I'm at a loss about how to proceed and could really use some advice on reliable alternatives to Stripe for payment processing. How do you manage these types of disruptions, or better yet, avoid them altogether? Any suggestions on other payment processors that are known for their reliability and customer service would be extremely helpful.

How long were you processing? What percent of charges resulted in chargeback?

Sorry for your problem, Stripe is a piece of shit, way worse than PayPal
Their ToS allows them to steal your money...they say they will try to refund all the money to your customer, even if this is a non-card transactions, total joke, the rest of the money they won't refund to you, just keep with their filthy bastard CEO

no chargeback. just sales. i got the radar activated and many sales were getting blocked

I mean they shouldnt have approved my business at all if it was risky. i am not even dropshipping. looking at other payment processors like 2checkout

they don't approve or reject at first
they just accept everybody
and if their shitty bot detect something suspicious, they use it to rob your money
try 2checkout, at least they will conduct a business analysis before aproving or rejecting your business, it's more professional

The problem is that your business is considered high risk, as far as I can tell with the information you provided. Stripe only accepts low risk.

There’s ways around this issue if you need processing right away. You can make a new business entity and use the two website method.

But you’ll need a high risk processor that’s okay with your business model in the end to avoid issues like this.

Good job with setting up radar. The key is blocking high risk payments in general. It’s better not to accept them than to take the money and lose it later while putting your payment accounts at risk.

2CO is a more comprehensive, yet a bit more expensive than Stripe and they might look the other way now and then for their customers.

searched on Reddit many of the other guys had this same issue like me and none of them got their funds or accounts back.
Looking for 2checkout but scared to try and lose money again. this stripe thing costed me a lot of losses and many customers got the products for free

Squareup is also one of my processors and never hand an issue there and I've run hundreds of thousands through them.

It is only credit cards though, 2CO will also handle PP for you.

yes thats what i need only credit card, i got the LLC on the U.S but hope my resident adress gets approved cause I live in a 3rd world country

Someone, somewhere, somehow, needs to figure a way to stop these processors from that kind of customer abuse.
Agreed. It didn’t set me back too much because I already had other accounts (with stripe and others.) $3500 could potentially bankrupt someone else. It should be considered larceny imo

and did you find a way or another payment processor?

Yes. As I mentioned about the two website method with stripe. I am still processing with stripe years later.

I don’t know where you’re from but I am in the US. I have a US business entity with matching name bank account. They might know what I really do. But they haven’t given me any problems.

Your results may vary. I suggest always having more than one account. Don’t be complacent. Cancel culture is real and I think some of those faceless clowns enjoy knowing you’re suffering by closing accounts.

OK so i reached out to them multiple times. they duck the emails, eventually i opened a new stripe account to get a response for my original account. they asked for my inventory and stock pictures which i sent and then they said then they cant re enable my account and all of my funds are lost.
what pussys, everybody here dont use STRIPE.

they have an easy signin up but eventually they will hold your funds and they will never get them back
