After the Skype What is your Next Option

Hello, Fellow members. Hopefully, Most of us have recently heard about the News that " Skype is stopping all activities after May 2025."

What are your next options after Skype? I'm curious to know your suggestions.

One should really re-evaluate their choices if Skype were in first place of all options.

Telegram probably would make most sense nowadays, especially as you are a member of BHW and a lot of business people prefer this type of communication channel.

Skype is awesome. It has a (mooning) emoji, what else can you ask for?!?!

Microsoft Teams as it makes most sense to transition automatically from skype to teams.

Somewhere in the archives, I have Skype4COM.dll file that I used to control my skype account using COM API back in .. like 2009

I could follow-up with hundreds of clients automatically. nowadays of course it's nothing spectacular.

Good times.

It's a shame that M$ did decide to make it so terrible that they need to shut It down now.

Telegram is a good option. Teams looks new but needs some time to decide if its worth it.

There should be one common messenger to communicate with everyone, and Telegram and whatsapp are common in every smartphone.
