If it can't be removed then maybe the whole sub forum could be locked like a thread?

Thereby protecting the Google rankings for that section.

Although I'm not sure how many people search for MySpace information nowadays.

Probably not alot.

:D

What do you think?

Is it time to nuke MySpace?

If deleting the entire subforum isn't an option, locking it like a thread is a good short-term solution. This will protect that section's Google rankings from spam or irrelevant activity.

As for MySpace, yes, it's no longer the social media giant it once was, but it still has a certain nostalgia. That said, its traffic should have dropped significantly.

From an SEO perspective, locking a subforum or thread may help maintain its authority while keeping it from getting bogged down in unnecessary interactions. If the content in that section is truly outdated and attracting low-value traffic, it may be time to consider "purging" it or redirecting traffic to more useful content.

Put it in Archive mode and call it a day imo

Whilst it may not be relevant to your niche MySpace is still a money earner for many therefore we will keep that subforum open.
