Bhw is a popular & famous digital, marketing black hat marketplace in the world. They are dominating marketplace for over one decade. But why they doesn't have any android/ios app? My question is to the moderator.

Btw I'm an Android developer. I'm trying to develop an Android app for bhw. It's unofficial. Just for my personal use.

Please do not offer an unofficial app that violates the copyright that Damien has as to the domain.

As to why we do not have one is because the site is very mobile friendly and one is just not needed.

I'm not a moderator, but I can give several reasons for this to happen.
1 - The forum uses XenForo and I don't think they have an official product for Android or iOS apps. At most, a PWA. Because of this, I don't know if it's possible to create a XenForo API to be used by the app.
2 - Strict rules from Apple and Google for publishing. I imagine a Google tester evaluating the app and getting into a discussion about how to circumvent Google Search algorithms or sell Gmail, Meta accounts, etc. The app probably wouldn't be accepted by the stores.
3 - Since account upgrades and the benefit is released digitally, Google and Apple would require going through their gateways, which directly impacts paying 30% fees to them and integrating XenForo for subscriptions through Google and Apple.
4 - What's the benefit of the app if you can do everything through the default browser? The forum is also very responsive, I've never had any problems.

Thank you for your suggestion. Ok I'll not provide unofficial app.

Honestly I don't really get it why people are so obsessed with mobile apps.

I have a friend of mine and he wants to develop an app for his small business so badly that I just don't get it. It's really small retail business with clothes and there's a site which works perfectly fine on mobile. Why spend additional time and resources developing the app which people are most likely not going to use?

I'm working at software development company and I know how sales managers are selling the app saying that will benefit business and raise the revenue but those are just words. Practically very small percentage of people ever download those apps.

I personally rarely install app mostly messengers or social media. Like why would I download an app for EVERY service that I use daily and navigate through this madness on my phone if I have the browser which can handle all of them in one place?

App store, being ranked there
additional reviews to consider, potential new customers, new ways to find your brand
can, and maybe a good thing (or excess baggage) for a business.

Hmm I've never thought of it as of additional traffic source. Makes much more sense now tbh. But still I'm not sure if it's worth it developing an app to reach out to small percentage of new potential customers. I mean to get ranked highly you have to be top performer in your niche which is more an exception than a rule.

It would be an investment, and it would really depend on the target audience too.
Obviously not suitable in all businesses but some do make it work. (or they have other smart twist we haven't though of as a reason of having it)

Yeah it works for some businesses of course but it's just fun how people with small companies think of mobile app like "That's cool we definitely need it!". For me it sounds like that AI madness that started year or two ago when people started adding AI to literally anything. I mean it works in some cases but mostly it's an overkill.

Totally agree
a lot of times, it's a personal want more than a business need
