$1 Million+ a Year on Etsy: My 7-Year Journey of Success [AMA]!

Hi everyone, I've been following this forum for a long time, and the high-quality content here has really caught my attention. As someone who has never participated in or posted on any forums before, this is my first time sharing something in a forum. I noticed a significant lack of information about Etsy in particular within this group, and I wanted to fill this gap by posting an [AMA] to answer everyone's questions and provide help.

Let me introduce myself: I've been selling on Etsy since 2017 and have opened, closed, and managed numerous stores over the years. During the pandemic in 2020, Etsy experienced incredible growth, and I started earning millions of dollars in a year during and after pandemic. My monthly income has exceeded more than $150,000 in a month. In this journey, I've gained extensive experience in selling both digital and physical products (currently, most of my products are physical). I've learned and experienced too much details about ETSY, from its algorithm to successful products.

I'd be happy to answer questions from those considering starting on Etsy, those who are already selling, and even those operating at a professional level. I'd also enjoy reading and learning from the information shared here by users of BHW. Based on my experience and knowledge, I will do my best to help and answer. However, the time I can dedicate to forums is limited to 1-2 hours a day. During this time, I'll try to respond to as many of your questions as possible.

I want to emphasize that I have no intention of promoting or selling courses or anything here. My sole aim is to share what I've learned and support those who are currently selling or planning to start selling.

Lastly, I want to share an example to show the potential of Etsy: A new store I opened last week generated $14,000 in revenue in just one week. I'm not sharing this to brag or prove anything but simply to provide confidence in the legitimacy of what I'm saying.

Feel free to ask me anything about Etsy; I'm here to help without hesitation.
Hey bro!

After reading about your experience with Etsy, I felt super excited, like it was happening to me too! I can't wait to hear more about your success.

So, here’s the thing: my country isn’t supported by Etsy for payments, and it’s not even listed as one of the countries Etsy allows to start a shop with Payoneer. I was thinking about opening an LLC in the US, but honestly, it’s out of my budget for now. Do you know of any other ways to get started with an Etsy shop?

I'm also interested in Etsy. However, I've heard that creating a legit Etsy account is quite difficult and that accounts often get reviewed or suspended for random reasons. Do you have any advice?

Hi
Give advice on which product categories to look at first? What would be easier for a beginner?

Hello again everyone, this new years and christmas season was really busy, and it was great for me, sorry for late reply finnaly i'm now able to answer your questions

And i have a very GOOD NEWS for the people who is looking for Joint Ventures Oppurtinites, i will share the details tomorrow! :)
First of all, thank you so much for this thread like you've said you are filling the gap of informative etsy related questions on here that we have been missing. Not sure if you're still online on here, but are you still up for the joint ventures? I've got a store running right now that I wouldn't mind splitting.

How can I find products to sell on etsy and how can I sell without keeping stock?

The best thread i have read in a long time!!

As an etsy seller that focuses on digital products and have over 190 sales. The advice here is gold!!

I also do fake sales + review, but the add to cart method is entirely new to me

Who do you use for add to cart method?
Can you send me the link to the Fiverr person that you use for pinterest?

Thank you for inspiring me to carry on my Etsy journey!!

Do you mind sharing what card you use for fake sales?

What is this method?

Fake reviews and add to carts both help for better search results. By doing add to cart for 4 days for one product every day (5 add to carts) after i reach 20+ add to carts, Etsy showing a red text saying "20+ people have this in their cart", creating urgency and extra trust for my product and my customers placing their orders faster, also Etsy put my listing to first page (first page is not only happening because of add to cart but its helping a lot.)

I really like your post, I learned a lot and I think I could try it :D
If you have any free digital products, I would be very grateful. Or just some direction :D Best regards

Massive respect for sharing real experience and being open to help others. Etsy success like that is rare and super inspiring.

Add to cart method works, there's one service in BHW services section which guarantees results even. I'm selling digital calendars, but business is slow since a few weeks. Anyone else noticing a decrease in sales?

Great, thanks for sharing.
I see there is a question that many people are interested in but you have not answered, that is how to create an etsy account without being suspended? My account was suspended right after the first order, I created it with my information, using 5G network, the product is also designed by myself, not copied from anywhere.
And another question is, in your opinion, what digital product niche is potential to sell on etsy?
Thank you, hope to receive an answer from you.
