@ParroxPAW re-read your post 3 times, from my understanding, your case tell us how to add a large amount of your followers to close friends, so when you post your story, your close friends will see first and interact with your story if its interesting, its will help to increase your post engagement compare to normal way (posting to followers, but not close friends, engagement rate will lower), am I right? Please clarify (I'm new in IG), thanks

Many people are using API software's to do it, but just be-careful because Instagram did put out a limit of 7500, however, there are people who can add more than that.
No, it's not. Last month Instagram restricted all endpoints. Hard limit is 7500. If someone is offering now, it's a scam
