Watching this at the moment, it's one of my all-time favorite BBC documentaries ever made (and they've had A LOT of great ones).

If you need a break from technology and / or you romanticize the old tech that our forefathers used to use 100s of years ago this 6-hour long documentary will be a blast :)

For those who don't know, I am not Brit (I am Romanian), but even so, I absolutely love the Victorian era with the clothing, and steampunk feeling and the industrial revolution... and the innovations in general because there have been innovations in many aspects of life (tech, fashion, hygiene, food industry, etc). Such a cool period...

Anyway, enjoy the show :)

That sounds like an amazing documentary! The Victorian era was truly a fascinating time of innovation and transformation. The blend of history, technology, and culture from that period, especially with a steampunk aesthetic, makes it even more intriguing. Thanks for sharing I'll have to check it out!

I've no girlfriends so sure, it will work out great for me :)
