Watching this at the moment, it's one of my all-time favorite BBC documentaries ever made (and they've had A LOT of great ones).
If you need a break from technology and / or you romanticize the old tech that our forefathers used to use 100s of years ago this 6-hour long documentary will be a blast
For those who don't know, I am not Brit (I am Romanian), but even so, I absolutely love the Victorian era with the clothing, and steampunk feeling and the industrial revolution... and the innovations in general because there have been innovations in many aspects of life (tech, fashion, hygiene, food industry, etc). Such a cool period...
