Edge
I was a hater too, then I tried to use and...well, those jokes about Internet Explorer remained in the past, Edge is better than Chrome itself, once they moved to Chromium, it was a game changer for them

lowkey
that is all browsers lol
pick your poison
not all of them are like this.

Brave, for example, is a bit better than most browsers (when it comes to privacy at least), and if I really am paranoid and want the most private of them all I choose Librewolf, But for now I'm ok with Brave... although, I have a sneaky suspicion that they're slowly turning into another Google Chrome... but I'll give it a few more months / years and if proofs about its slipping start coming out I'll make the move to Librewolf...

Edge or know more about it?
both

Brave... privacy?
sure, it has good defaults and what not
but that trash company profited off you until they got caught red-handed then apologized then acted everything was ok.
Honestly, who knows what other shady stuff they do in the background.
At the very least, MS and Google fucks you openly.

Let's not forget, your marketshare is so small, you actually are much easier identified even if your privacy defaults are better ;)

that's why I said "A BIT better than all other browsers". I am aware that nothing's perfect, but we should always choose the lesser of 2 evils, don't you think?

I'm not ok with it. If you're happy being r*ped in public, that's your problem... or fetish I guess :p

I can't see the connection between market share and privacy, mind explaining what you mean?

As a site owner, i'm sure you also collect data on your visitors right?
I can tell you right now that about 80% of BHW users on desktop atleast uses Chrome according to my stats.
@RoiBox said it himself "his stats"
Ad are everywhere, on all sites, everyone has stat trackers, cookies etc.
ad vendors like google etc build profiles from the anonymous data collected.
YOUR profile is much easier to match to you as a person compared to someone who uses Chrome.

Just think of it in an office setting.
A team of 50,000 vs a team of 5
Given a profile on all workers
you are going have an easier time matching those 5 to the 5 profiles you received as opposed to the 50k

so back to browsers and marketshare
the more people using the browser with the same settings and what not
the easier it is for you to blend in
in other words, aligns with fingerprinting,

either way
Brave is a good browser
I have used it for extensive periods of time
but the company rubs me the wrong way
if you are comfortable with scamming your userbase, I don't trust you period.
Trust is hard to build but its super easy to shatter and they shattered it years ago for me

Firefox as main browser, Brave for sensitive stuff and Chrome for a few things related to work (occasional)

I've not owned a site for at least 3 years now... And when I did own them, I collected no data, I am against data collection, why would I collect it?

If you're referring to collecting data with google analytics then that's a different story, but even then I've not been the one collecting it but google :)

Anyway, I think I see your point now...
