Will using PBN links on super new domain/landing page cause issues?

A competitor of mine is ranking #2 for a money keyword using a Framer landing page site which is only 1 week old.

When I look at the link profile they have 46 links (which all look like PBNs) indexed in the last 7 or 8 days.

Is this super risky? Do I need to go slow and steady or can I replicate his success?

Could I just build 90 PBN links to outdo my competitor?

before you replicate it wait and see how it goes, most likely to stay up at the top in the near term he needs to keep getting lots of links. It seems like google will quickly reward this then drop it down in the near future but I would love to hear an update about how this works out

Its pretty competitive terms so I was pretty surprised to see it rise with just crappy PBNs.

Usually no, unless you're linking from top-notch PBN built using really good domains, aged, and well-built as websites,
Or you're getting links from genuine authority websites, niche-related news, forums, etc...

The thing is, naturally, it could surely happen, a new service is on trend in a specific GEO, niche, etc... could get such a number in a short while,
But generally, it could raise a red flag that makes things suspicious, and if you're not getting good & genuine links, that could be an obvious footprint

Don't put your site at risk by adding too many cheap pbn links in a short period if it is your long term project. You could wait and track the results for some more time as advised.

looks like they are about to be sent to the dust bin of history then, If google is giving you that warning surely they will lose rank fast ..... right?

Yea man...Im pretty sure those guys ranked and banked for a week-10 days, whilst it lasted.

Now the site and all the hard work is on the scrap heap.

Pretty sad.
