How do I take an affiliate link and make it look normal?

Thats why you use a middleman domain. You make a website called aiprofitsnow . com (whatever is relevant to your idea) then, on your site you put the links to the affiliate (of whatever products you decide), and that's it, maybe a small banner or text header to say "Recommend links" or "Verified Partners"
so i'll run ads on the website link instead? how does that get traffic to the specific link?

Generally, advertisers don't let you use their naked links most time. If they do, google is not usually a fan of spamming masses of different affiliate links. I'm not 100% sure, I'm only going on what others have talked about and done, and people end up after screwing up most times end up looking for cloaking solutions.
The correct way, is you run traffic to either a landing page, (where you capture details such as email, or send them to offer via CTA button or something.) or a website that has content on it, so you can get brand exposure.
Hopefully your not thinking day 1, get affiliate ads ready, day 2, put 100's of affiliate ads into google, day 3 run ads and make a fortune. Or something as ridculausly easy sounding as that. lol, you'll find out why it costs a fortune to get good at paid ads.
i can take the affiliate link and cloak it? will that give me a different link I can use?

Yes, it will give you a short URL as an intermediary/proxy/cloak.

Well i think you can use a link shortner like bitly or tinyurl or use a domain to clock the link

Do not use affiliate links in Google Ads and do not use link shortener links in Google Ads. Buy a domain and create a landing page / website. Even a cheap domain from Namecheap works good enough.
