Heath Ledger - No One Could Do It Better!

batman really doesn't have a lot of good enemies. the joker is the worst and he's not going to come back. just be glad we don't have to sit thru the riddler.

p.s. jack nicholson wanted to play the joker in this movie. he was irked that they didn't even consider him.

Masterful performance by Ledger, he brought an edge to Dark Knight that it needed. Question is, who was the main character and who had the supporting role?

Beside Ledger being a genius in this movie...
I like how they explain how the joker needs batman...
Explains why the joker never killed batman all those times in the Adam West era...

Great FN movie...
Go see it...

Ledger stole every scene he was in. Definetely will go down as one of the best movie villians in history. To have the talent to go from gay cowboy to that is indicative of his incredible talent. Terrible loss.

I think the Riddler is about the best villain Batman has left. As long as they don't make him as incredibly stupid as Jim Carrey's Riddler was.

Bane would be a good choice, but he is only known from the comics so he might not generate too much interest, although not many people heard of Ra's Al Ghul before the first movie and Liam Neeson did a great job.

Penguin and Freeze would be ridiculous, probably couldn't pull off another Catwoman.

Especially if it's Haley Berry.. dear god.. please.. no more!

My vote goes for Two Face and Riddler (less comical and darker of course).

Let's vote on "Dream Villains" for the next one. It doesn't even have to be a known Batman character...anybody you want.

1. "Evil" Steven Seagal (Perhaps as his "Cockpuncher" character)
2. Bluntman & Chronic
3. Darth Vader
4. Freddy Vs. Jason Vs. Batman
5. A CGI version of Marlon Brando as "Bizarro" Jor-El
6. Axl Rose

I think the next villain will be Paul Giamatti as Penguin and of course 2 face will return. I think it will be tough to make the Riddler into a serious character.

I don't know if Batman had any martial arts villains besides Ra's Al Ghul and the League of Shadows.

But, I think Jet Li would make a good villain. I thought he did a good job against Mel Gibson in Lethal Weapon 4. I would like to see more "action fighting" like the Bourne movies instead of just blowing everything up. Hopefully the new Mummy movie won't make Li look ridiculous.

Who knows, maybe Matt Damon will play The Riddler.

lol, well if we're going that route.. I want Rambo to be a villain.. the young Rambo.

Just got back from an IMAX showing of this and Heath Ledger fuckin owned it as The Joker. They really didn't disappoint with this one. Awesome, awesome movie.

Yeah. If they ever do make another Batman.. they have some huge standards to live up to from what The Dark Knight set

he was the perfect joker. to bad he is now in a better place. he will be missed

I never liked Heath Ledger. The only movies I had seen him in were 10 Things I Hate About You, Patriot, and Knights Tale and frankly all those movies sucked. But after seeing Dark Knight I am now grieving his passing. He should def get the Oscar.

Amen Bro ! I was never that impressed with Ledger, but after seeing his incredible performance in DK I realized it was the movies that sucked, and not his acting.

I vote he gets the Oscar, but not out of some sense of "closure" because he has passed away, but because he truly earned it.

i have never seen a better joker... period.
took 30 years, but they *finally* got the
character right!
