From the Gutter to the Palace

I spent the past two years pouring into myself. Healing my hurt, and correcting my transgressions.

Praying, fasting, meditating, becoming the better version of myself, and staying far away from tables that do not serve me in a positive way.

Eveything I have done came together on today-

MY BIRTHDAY.

I became a certified herbalist, and got my highschool diploma today! and I am now considering following my dream of going to medical school.

I am doing things I never seen myself doing.

I never knew what a 700 credit score looked like until I had one. I never knew what owning a credit card looked like until I was approved for one.

I never knew what owning a home full of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE felt like until I signed my name on mortgage.

God has been loving on me heavy. All the glory goes to my God.

It’s never too late to say YES to yourself. It is never too late to tie up loose ends. I chose to let God lead and remove.

I’ve never felt this much Joy in my spirit. It is the joy of self accomplishment, self reliance and self acceptance.

You are never too far gone, or damaged to turn things around.

Don’t let your past define your present or your future.

Your history is to be used as a compass, a guide to assist you along the way.

You are to use it to make better choices, not wallow in shame, guilt or pity.

Life is made to live. Go live it. And live it unapologetically.

And like I promised in my previous thread for any of y’all who followed- Happy New Year!!!
