Streamline or optimise your profile and content towards your niche, engage with the community wherever you can through comments, likes, etc. particularly with people on the same niche. You gotta be active on that too especially when you're starting ground up. A little competitor research goes a long way too. And yeah, I second running localised ads when you feel confident enough or get into the groove of things.
You can follow pages that have the GEO of your targeted audience. Build some interaction with them.
