I have a curiosity, I couldn’t find any answers to this question here on the forum. I’m planning on streaming on 4g mobile data and I was wondering.. Why not better use a usb dongle and connect that 4g data to a laptop/pc? And from there… Use more music platforms at the same time (up to 4-5). By rotation of course. 8h of 4 music platforms of one account then 8h on another account and so on. Wouldn’t this be better? Phones kinda limit you to using one platform at the time (unless you clone your os). There is also the option of using a VPS (not VPN), but I feel like 4g is king. Thoughts?

If wouldn’t it be better to use a pc/laptop with 4g data instead of a phone? Since it would be easier to run multiple music platforms at once.

It depends how PC can hide your accounts from detection. Go with platform where you can find tools that can help you to hide your accounts.

The thing is I kinda want to avoid hiding and act like a normal listener but on multiple platforms with multiple accounts. Not hundreds though, more like a dozen.

I'm not sure about the account limit number on same device of each platform. So try with care. Things to consider when using multiple accounts are IPs and device fingerprints.

Thank you! I mean ok, Spotify might see I use it on mobile data in a browser on a laptop, but what’s wrong with that? Especially since I would make less than 200 streams per session. And I wouldn’t use a bot to skip after 30s. Proper listening.

I didn’t start yet, still in the process of uploding music to distributors. Can’t see why it wouldn’t work as long as you are careful and not greedy.
About the limit I heard many opinions here, some say less than 30-40k streams per artist per month, some say less than 100 streams per song per day. It really varies

I think distrokid ban artist profile quick... that's why i'm confused ( Free distributor like Routenote... maybe it's good for start and test idk)

I use Tunecore and I’m testing Routenote rn but they’re sooo slow…

(i was trying to upload 100 tracks with different distributor/Artist profile)

I’m wondering if there’s such a big difference for the DSPs if they see you’re using the app for 12 hours instead of 8. Anyone any idea about this? I know some of you go even 24h, I’m just trying to be more careful.
