I am thrilled to share that I am creating a WordPress plugin designed to change the entire website's font seamlessly. This plugin is special because it focuses on Assamese fonts, allowing websites to showcase content in beautiful and custom Assamese typefaces like Jyotirupa and Rangmon.

This project has been a labour of love, combining my passion for web development to promote regional language content online. I am currently in the final stages of development, ensuring that the plugin is user-friendly, efficient, and compatible with a wide range of WordPress themes.

Throughout the development process, ChatGPT has been an incredible resource. I used it extensively for generating code snippets, solving errors, and optimizing functionality. From understanding WordPress hooks to creating CSS rules for font applications, ChatGPT provided timely guidance that sped up my workflow.
To understand how similar plugins work, I explored and analyzed existing WordPress plugins that handle font customization. These plugins gave me valuable insights into best practices for design, structure, and user experience. I also used a few of them as references to ensure compatibility and seamless integration.

The main feature of the plugin is applying custom Assamese fonts site-wide. To achieve this, I implemented:

Dynamic CSS Injection: This allows the plugin to add Assamese font styles to the website's front end dynamically.
Font Selector in Admin Panel: Users can easily choose their preferred Assamese font from the WordPress dashboard.
Compatibility Testing: I ensured the plugin works with various themes and does not interfere with other customizations.

Currently, I am focusing on testing, and optimizing the code for performance...

Testing Wordpress Site -
I use https:// tastewp. com/ for testing my plugin.. by uploading some Assamese posts... ( but unfortunately my plugin is not working till now.. font has not changed...

I am facing some errors.. this plugin is not working on generatepress ...

Thank you... I am currently shared my github link... But the main problem is the font is not working... Maybe i have to fix some code...

Update : my plugin is working well.. Now i am planning to submit it WordPress plugin page...

Today i have check it with plugin checker tools.. Some code should be fixed for submitting it to WordPress plugin directory...

Though this is worked well..

If anyone have experience in it.. You can help me in the comment section

Update : i am struggling to fix the error code. With Plugin Check (PCP) plugin.....

Though my plugin is working well.. But i have to change some code to submit it WordPress directory..

.. I think chatgpt is not good for me writing the code... Is there another tool?

Update : all code has been fixed for WordPress standard... Plug-in submitted to WordPress directory... Now i am waiting for listing...
