Yes I do. And I used to seem his spam on discord and reddit quite regularly back before I stopped using WP. I got me clean nulls for free from elsewhere though so never actually used the service

nope, not for me. I prefer basic HTML templates that I can type some text in, add an image and a link, and call it a website! I don't need overly complicated and unnecessary plugins, it's google that always forces people to do with their websites
that's one of the problems. Too.... many.... updates. When you only have 1 website that's not a big deal, but most long-term and / or savvy SEOs have tons of websites, and keeping them updated given the multitude of plugins is a real chore.
Of course, you will combat my argument with "but there are automation tools", and to that I will - once again - respond with "yes, but this means even more tech knowledge and more investment and more complications". So, as you can see, it never ends and - instead of getting simpler - it always gets more complex and more niche-y to the point that people like me can't keep up with the technology crammed down our throats by the big tech. It's always the nerds and the programmers that love these new gadgets and updates and whatnot, simple people like me want to be able to rank their simple 5-page HTML sites just as easily as a SEO that owns 5000 sites in their PBN network, but that's not possible (and once again) it's all because of scumbags like google who force people to always keep up with the latest in technology and to always "upgrade" to god-knows-what idiocy, and so on...
that's exactly what I said too earlier
Anyway, I will keep my opinion (that WP will be history in less than 10 years), it will be interesting to see whether I'm some kind of Nostradamus or I'll be the laughing stock of the entire forum. I can hardly wait to see this
PS: no offense intended! If you, guys, like WP, feel free to keep using it. I personally don't like it anymore but that's just my preference, so don't mind me!

sorry to hear this, such a long time member. Kind of legendary.
As far as wordpress being dead ... NOT YET! Made a site in October that is already ranking for a bunch of local stuff. Will translate into serious money this spring. Hoping I can replicate it a few more times in the next few months.

Well and how are you doing with these simple sites? Honestly I've been thinking of either coding something myself, copying and pasting templates & php/js for when I need functionality or at least converting wp-made site into a static site. It's not like I don't know how to code. Kinda miss my first html sites hahaha. It's fast to make a site in wordpress but there's updates and hacks every 10s...nope, not for me. exactly. I had 6 active sites at some point and I remember that when I woke up in the morning there were several emails urging me to update whichever plugin I was using.... Ok, this definitely didn't happen each day, but I swear that it happened at least 3-4 times a week, every god damn week....
At first, I kept up with this fairly constantly (I'd update once a week, sometimes twice maybe), but after a few months I just couldn't do it anymore, at some point I felt like I became Wordpress' slave, my whole existence being dedicated to updating Wordpress or its plugins. That's when I've stopped liking WP, especially that many of those updates were beginning to induce panic and urgency into users with their imbecile "this update is CRITICAL, do it NOW or you risk [insert whatever retarded panic-inducing reason]". Fucking fear inducing degenerates and overhype-y, overdramatic retards with your "critical" messages....
Anyway, when / if I ever get back into SEO I am genuinely considering giving other site builders a try. The first such builder I ever used when I got into making sites (around 2008 I believe) had been Soholaunch. I don't know where I saw / found that builder, and I do remember that it's been pretty basic and primitive at that time (probably that even today it still doesn't compare to Wordpress, but so what?), but I'd like to get back to using it... or at least trying it out, playing with it more. There are so many things in life that completely unknown strangers pour their whole life and soul into making, but we never give any of these a chance. Always going with the most popular and biggest crap out there, no matter how good or bad it is... Nah, man, if we don't support the unknown / less popular / smaller creators we will be the ones to blame when the monopolies that we help succeed start shitting on us (like it happens to Festinger right now, he got sued by Wordpress because WP have become so big that they've forgot where they've come from and how they used to be like us once)
