Festinger is likely a reference to Leon Festinger (1919–1989), a renowned American social psychologist best known for developing the theory of cognitive dissonance. This theory suggests that people experience psychological discomfort when they hold conflicting beliefs, attitudes, or behaviors, motivating them to reduce the dissonance by changing their beliefs, attitudes, or actions.Who's Festinger exactly?

Festinger also contributed to the field of social psychology through his social comparison theory, which explores how individuals evaluate their own opinions and abilities by comparing themselves to others.
If you're referring to someone or something else by "Festinger," let me know, and I can clarify further!

You are probably not aware of some of the legal stuff he is dealing with but it is a legal deal that has him handcuffed, not an interest in not continuing his business and serving his clients.Because he knows WordPress is about to die and it's not even worth bringing the service back

SEO is dead, dropshipping is dead, BTC will die soon, WP will die soon,Fair enough. I still think WordPress is going to die real soon, regardless of what this Festinger's situation here is.
to be honest, man, there are changes coming in every aspect of our lives. They might not happen today, or this year, but they WILL happen. And they're necessary because we (the entire mankind) are making the transition towards a better future, a future of true, real, actual freedom and happiness and wealth (not material wealth necessary, although I suspect money will still be around for a little more while, but a wealth of self improvement and bettering ourselves as humans, and better our environment and planet as a true, real Paradise of clean breathable air, of clean sparkling waters, of rich, luxurious greenery and sceneries. and so on) and these changes can't catch on without us ridding ourselves of the shackles of the past, otherwise we would suffer. It's like we will be forcefully upgraded in every aspect of our life, and technology will inevitably be one of the upgrades. I think in 10 years maximum none of the corporations (big and small) will continue existing, and everything that serves and improves life will be community-based and free and open source...Seems like everything is dead/dying![]()
I know he might in in some legal battles why Doesn't OP chill and wait an update from him.Legal battles can take some long time.

I am chilled
Do I sound NOT chilled?
Sure thing, everything will die eventually, including humankind & the earth itself, it is just a matter of how long things will last,to be honest, man, there are changes coming in every aspect of our lives. WP is the easiest and most commonly used CMS with tons of plugins/themes, wide support, frequent updates, translation, guides, etc...With regards to Wordpress, specifically, I am not sure that it will die (as in, it will stop existing) by the end of this year, it might linger on for 5-10 more years, but more and more people (including myself) are moving away from WP for the same reason I have moved away from "modern" video games, or from "modern" movies... from "modern" entertainment in general. Everything is full of anti-human agenda and / or - in the case of Wordpress - of unnecessarily complicated stuff. If you have 10 sites on Wordpress nowadays with even 10-12 plugins installed onto each site you have to update them almost daily, either update Wordpress itself or the plugins. Updates on top of updates on top of more updates every day.... and that Gutenberg shit and the "blocks" (whatever this retarded concept is) gives an aged, classy and non-techy webmaster like myself real head scratches.
