Feature update:

Attention dropshippers, this one is for you. We implemented "Shop System Filter" for:
  • Shopify
  • WooCommerce
  • Shopline
  • Shoplazza
  • Squarespace Commerce
  • Wix eCommerce
  • PrestaShop
  • Magento
Now you spy on Facebook ads AND filter them based on what type of a shop the landing page is using. It is something that was asked about the most since launch by e-commerce advertisers and dropshippers. Stay tuned for more to come:)

Feature update:

Australia and Poland are live.

Sorry for the noob question here,

what’s the difference between this (https://www.facebook.com/ads/library) and your service?

Sorry for the noob question here,

what’s the difference between this (https://www.facebook.com/ads/library) and your service?

Great question!

The official ads library is a good free tool that is very useful for spying about specific advertiser or specific ad, meaning when you already know what you want to focus on. It does have a keyword search, but there is no way to sort and filter ads by performance or limit the results to ads that have engagement numbers high enough which would indicate that an ad might have a large spend (non-EU). EU ads do have estimated reach data (can't filter by it either), which is better than relying on engagement and we are in the process of integrating this in all of our ads right now:) The price might go up after that big update, but we haven’t fully decided on that.

AdEagle right now has filter option to only show ads that gained a certain amount of engagement over a period of time and this is what we call Trending ads filter.

In addition to that I detects, if the landing page is using a store and what type, this is to help out e-commerce marketers and dropshipper jump over other ads that don't interest them.

We give you the ability to filter ads by gender and age, which official ads library does show for individual EU ads only, but gives you no ability to filter ads with that information.

While official ad library allows you to spy for ads that were active in a certain time period, you can’t ask for ads that had a certain minimum number of days that were active on. You can do that with AdEagle’s "Ad Runtime Filter".

A few others quality-of-life features are:

Translating all ads and making them searchable in English. If you want to find a certain ad in Spanish, you don’t need to input a Spanish keyword, you can use English and select “Search in English Ad Translation” to search specifically foreign ads.

Ability to filter ads by page categories.

Performing a keyword search for matching matters inside landing page URLs. This one is proving to be quite complex and not easy to use by our users, because it requires user to know what a certain footprint of a tool, tracker or affiliate network looks like in the URL so we are testing out pre-determined (by us) URL filers in combination with landing page analysis filters. This is still in development but one such example will eventually become cloaked Facebook ads detector or an affiliate network detector.

Both our paid service and the official ads library compliment each other and imho you should use both to get the most value out of it. You use AdEagle to narrow your search of profitable ads to a smaller ad set and a few advertisers, than you check their other ads in the official library manually, if there are any. This way you have the most data to make the most informed decisions about your business.

The service looks pretty good, buddy, but it seems there’s no trial plan.

There is no official self-register trial indeed, but we have a no questions asked refund policy and the BHW exclusive price is the lowest you can find for such a service with full access and no daily credits BS... We decided to test market response to a below-market price since it is hard to accurately predict ideal pricing for SaaS products. From the potential customers POV the dilemma is as follows: they can either join early on at the heavily discounted price, or pay a higher premium later once we become the market leader in this product category, which is bound to happen half-way through 2025, as soon as all the major ideas get into production so keep an eye on updates here:)

What are the limitations of Facebook Ad Library when researching competitors?

The long reply about ad library vs custom tools: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/a...finder-ai-translations.1669575/#post-18708121

And the short checklist of all the limitations of official Ad Library:
- Can't filter ads by reach growth or total reach. This one alone is a deal breaker. How can you find best ads if you can't filter out ads that were seen by the most people?
- Can't filter ads by engagement growth (as far as I know, not even other FB ad spy tools properly implement this or don't implement it at all).
- No shop system detection for landing pages.
- No ability to search ads based on what appears inside their URL's.
- Can't filter ads by targeted age or gender.
- Can't find ads that were deleted by advertisers (and a lot of them are regularly deleted).
- Can't find ads that were banned by Meta.
- In some rare cases we found that the ad creative itself is not the same in Facebook Ad Library vs. what appeared on users feed. Some hardcore black hat stuff going on in those cases.

Got some big news today.

First, as you can tell by the banner at the top, we are running a free trial for AdEagle exclusive to BHW members.
All you have to do is post in this thread that you are interested and DM me your preferred email so I can manually create you an account.

Anyone can apply, no strings attached. If you can't DM me, then post and I'll DM you.
Trial duration: 7 days.

Second, we just finished rollout out our biggest update yet. Every ad card is now equipped with performance metrics labels at the top of it.
It is best if I just show you, see the image below:

We also added:
- a CTA text filter
- ability to only show ads that have an external URL
- filter for ad reach (EU ads only)
- filter for trending reach (EU ads only)
- active ad filter
- updated tutorials, I suggest starting with this one: https://adeagle.com/tutorials/getting-started
- introduced "smart filters", more about them below..

Smart filters

We preconfigured a few of the most popular filter settings and gave them meaningful names such as:

- Trending E-Commerce ads (finds ads that got more than 50 engagement growth per day and use any kind of shop system).
- Shopify ads (finds all shopify ads in our system).
- Top Impression Ads in EU (shows EU ads that reached more than 2 million of people).
- Viral website ads (finds ads that got more than 50 engagement growth per day and have external URL, that means an URL leading to a domain other than Facebook).
- US ads running >30 days (ads targeting US and running longer than 30 days).
- Health category Ads (selects all ads with pages that are related to health category).

We'll add more smart filters as we get more feedback from our users.

We remain the only Facebook adspy tool that provides data about ad engagement under each ad post and lets you filter by it. :smirk:
That is because we focus on how ads are shown to real people, while everyone else just parses Ad Library. Time will tell, who picked the most useful approach, I think it's us.

- Joe

P.S.: Almost forgot to add a pic of the new UI:)

This isn't a service providing ad accounts. It's for spying on trending FB ads and discover what works at any moment to learn from it and replicate it.
