hi can you guys help me about expired domain? like i want to know what kind of expired domain that can be use to rank up my landing page?
i mean like how much the DA PA that means the domain is good
and like what kind of backlink and how much the backlink in the domain that means the domain is good?

I think you should start with the basics. Learn how to evaluate backlinks for example. Don't expect to pull of advanced techniques if you don't know what you are doing.

If you want to rank only a landing page, then expired domain won't be too much help. Ranking 1 pagers or very small websites with barely any content is rather hard these days.

How strong a domain? As strong as you can afford. The more competetive niche, the harder you have to go. Still, unless you have at least $500 - 1000 to spend, then do not expect the domain to do much, if anything at all.

Strength of the domain, for the sake of simplicity, can be determined by number of referring domains and let's say domain rating metric from Ahrefs. Forget DA/PA and other MOZ bollocks.

The higher the RD, the better, the higher the DR, the better. Still, you should really learn how to evaluate backlinks as these numbers are good only as a basic filter.

Here is some basic checklist about what to look for - https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/what-is-your-checklist-for-domains-for-pbn.1342695/#post-14514468

And this is a decent guide on how to use those domains - https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/guide-how-to-use-expired-domains-effectively.1223248/

To rank your landing page, look for expired domains with:
  • DA/PA: DA above 30 and PA above 20 is a good starting point.
  • Backlinks: Focus on domains with high-quality backlinks from trusted websites, not spammy ones.
  • Relevance: Ensure the domain’s history and backlinks are relevant to your niche.

You seem to have less information about this. You should take help of some BHW member in this purchase. There are some sellers of expired domains on BHW, ask them to guide you first based on your needs.

One of them has already made contact and given advice in this thread :)

I've been asked this sort of question probably a hundred times, it is not uncommon. Generally I will advise for people to focus more on domains with links within their niche and/or with backlinks from authority sites and with a clean content history. These two checks alone are worth far more than a good DA, imo.

Hi buddy, to rank up your landing page I will suggest you to choose a domain with DA 50+ and PA 30 +. Also check out the quality of the backlinks. It should be from authority site relevant to your niche. Don’t miss out the spam score of the domain; choose a domain with low spam score. Hope this info will be helpful.

Hi, The Search. Choosing a high-quality expired domain name can help improve the ranking of your landing page. The key points are: DA should be above 40, the number of backlinks is large and high-quality (from authoritative and relevant websites), the domain name history is clean, and it is relevant to the industry or target keywords.

I was about saying the same thing, having someone to guide them through, it’s better than random replies you get .

Forget DA/PA – look for domains with backlinks from sites relevant to your niche; that's where the real power is. What's the topic of your landing page?

This! This all day long.

If I am looking to get a domain in specific niche, I am not looking at auction domains, I am crawling all of the authority sites in that niche. That way you can be guaranteed to have a domain with links within your niche.

Imo, ignoring the backlink profile (and whether the links are relevant or not) is such a huge mistake yet it seems a majority of the buyers are doing this these days. There are tools that make this very very easy

Check on past data of web archive, check backlink data on Ahrefs, forget about DA PA.
Only follow quality backlink. Specially grab that is match your niche. Otherwise don't buy expired domain.

Hell yeah! But DA still remains a selling factor) That is the story

Aim for an expired domain with DA/PA of at least 20–30 (ideally 30+). Look for 30–50+ unique, lowspam, ******** links from relevant, natural sites.

First, look for a niche-relevant expired domain. Then check its actual backlinks—not the DR/DA/SA scores.

Check out my service (link in signature). We pull expired domains from other databases and analyze their history using the Wayback Machine.
