Adsense for a tool / web app site

Many tool or web app sites seems like have adsense displayed on their website. From what I understand, you need to have good amount of articles etc. to get approved by Adsense. So how do these sites get approval. Does the traffic these sites receive to their tools page (not article) one of the factor adsense consider although they might not have much articles.

Planning to launch a tool site, any info and sharing would be much helpful and appreciated.

Just clearing your thoughts. Adsense requires traffic, either it is on tools or a blog page. It doesn't matter if you own a tool website and you don't have blog in your website.
I am running many tools website on Adsense.

Does the application or approval process varies? any particular things that i must be aware of to make the approval breeze pls

Just make a proper website with categories and everything, Add important pages like contact us, privacy policy, about us and T&C. And add 60+ articles with SEO optimized and images and everything.

And apply for Adsense, Hopefully, it will get approved.

This is for blog-based sites.

A large number of pages/posts is not strictly required for the approval, you just need pages like About, Privacy, Terms, Contact, etc...
Yet, if you don't have many pages, with a brand-new website that has little to no traffic, it will most likely get rejected,

So, you have to either add a couple of dozens of pages to get the approval, then delete or categorize them under a blog section,
Or simply try to get some decent amount of traffic that would help it get approved,

Just to clarify, neither blog pages nor traffic are strictly required for the approval, but Adsense got more strict in the last couple of years,
So, you basically have to give it something to get a better chance, whatever works easier for you

A few requirements you should fulfill.
1. Normal traffic on the website + good amount of page views. (1000+ is good to go)
2. Complete the website, content, about, contact pages. Avoid using # links in menu and footer. # links means the page is not ready.

I got approved yesterday with the stats below, (it’s a month old website)

I believe Adsense needs traffic + content for approval
